I am not concerned how much Snyder paid Hatcher. I am sure they are "doing what they want" in free agency too.

Has any ex-Commander ever played for Dallas? I remember when Lavar said he couldn't play for Dallas because of the rivalry.

Good for hatch. He did work his butt off and he did it for the money. Just like Ware said its all business.

Not necessarily upset that he left but going to a division rival is kick in the balls. No way I would have paid him nearly that much for that many years though so I'm happy we passed on it. Good job again by Jerry not overpaying old guys.

to mlol ok. he went to den for money and a shot at the super bowl. and not once have i said how great our fo is. i think they are bad and jj is horrible but im just not gonna make stuff up just to have a reason to bash them. he was cut. ware got his panties in a knot because of comments at a combine. as far as the apology people do it all the time just to make someone happy. You married? lol I know i did many times to my wife justove on. lol

This has nothing to do with marriage or stuff like this. This has everything to do with proper business etiquette especially to someone like Ware who was nothing but a class act to this organization.

Jones needs to have a set of balls and call Ware and saying to him that we just can't afford him and therefore were cutting him. Simple as that. Don't need to beat around the bush and tell the media that Ware doesn't want to take a pay cut - which he was willing to from what the reports say.

Funny that people in this forum was grumbling about Ware not wanting to take a paycut. Now people are grumbling to Ware about him about getting mad about comments made in public. The greatest passrusher in Cowboys history and some fans forget what he has done for this organization. Its truly amazing.

This deal could hurt Dallas' attempts to sign Henry Melton, if they are trying. If Hatcher gets $27.5 million, what does Melton, who's five years younger, get? Maybe the knee injury drives down the cost some....

4 years $27.5 mil looks big, but how much is guaranteed?

Regardless, as much as I love Hatcher and his leadership, I'm ok with him going.

Having said that, with Ware gone and now Hatcher. We have to make a significant signing on the DL. I get that we getting rotational players and that's fine, but despite what you think about Hatcher/Ware you cannot deny that we don't have anything better on the roster right now. I shudder to think about our D right with a worse DL. Although it is only March.

WE will all miss Hatchers production. Now were going to sign a bunch of backups on other teams and expect them to perform up to Ware or Hatchers abilities? Lets get real.

Whats bad is that he signed with the Commanders. I sure he didn't want to and Im sure he would have took similar money from other teams not in the NFC East.

But like I mentioned before, why didn't we offer anything to Hatcher? I would have tried to sign him with an incentive laden contract worth 3 million a year. Sure its lowballing him. But at least we gave him an option. Thus Dallas FO really doesn't have a clue.

Give Melton 4 for 24 and it's still a good deal because of age and scheme fit alone.

$3M a year? LOL.

Dude even if I had no interest in playing for the Skins if they're giving me $7M a year at age 32 I'm breaking my wrist to sign the dotted line.
