His comment sounded bit odd to me, not sure how to take it, I could take it two different ways but I'll go with he is hurt and can't give all and will hurt the team more than help.

Ya, no one on the Cowboys website is reporting this on their twitter page. I think because it's a big stage game on Sunday night, and how much we need him, he'll most likely play. Imagine the backlash he will get if he doesn't and we lose, and his tweets with Werder come out in the forefront by the Cowboys media. Not good for him.

I think "putting bad film out there" was just a figure of speech, like " I don't want to stink up the place, " not meant to be taken literally. He could have been just been joking around, too. Regardless, Hatch is having a pro bowl year, he got hurt playing for the Cowboys, and he deserves the benefit of the doubt, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd like to see the full interview where this was supposedly stated.

Based on everything we've seen and heard from Hatch this year I can confidently say he's not a "me first" type of player. He seems genuinely passionate about his craft and wants the team to win games and have success.

I think if he sits out tonight, it'll be because he knows he can't help the team in his current state, not because of some selfish concern about 2014 free agency.

You are right, he does. It's just a strange choice of words when refering to an injury.
