His coach gave him a B+ for the game.

I suspect Hayden does a better job of doing what they expect him to do (stuffing the run) we give him credit for here on CZ.

Of course he does. Marinelli has a love affair with the dude. It's sad and EMBARASSING.

same team that thought weeden was a capable backup and randle was a sufficient replacement for murray. i don't trust their ability to evaluate their in-house talent.

He was sufficient for a backup. No one was gonna replace Murray. We knew that as did the coaches.

Todd Gurley would replace Murray in his sleep. Just had to make the move for him. At least make the attempt. He is a special player and the thought of him and Dez in the same offense is bad things man for the NFL.

Yeah he would, but probably costs 2 1sts a 2nd and maybe more to jump from 27 to 9. The rumors were they had a deal in place to jump up to around 18 if the right guy fell and I'd wager a good deal of money that right guy was Gurley.

Gurley with a star on his helmet would have been unbelievable...but he also would have cost a ton to move up for. Would have loved to have kept Murray (being from my hometown & a great fit for the scheme). But 21+ million guaranteed plus $8 mil. per was just too rich IMO. They could've done a better job of addressing RB...but that said, it's other factors that have derailed the season up to this point IMO. With Romo & Dez all season, this team likely has maybe 1 loss.

We sure have a bunch of guys that seem to worry about that "outside noise" that coaches preach against. Beasley, T Will, Dez, Hayden. They all seem to get bent out of shape about who is saying what on social media. What a soft bunch. They should worry about winning a damn game.

They spend too much time on Twitter.

Yeah, I pretty much hate twitter. Tony has gotten more criticism than that after almost every loss since 2007, and I can't remember him ever firing back. Just deal with it, Hayden. At least with this franchise you get some exposure.

What about Jones, Gregory, Hardy, Collins, Martin, Hitchens, Smith, Fred, McClain, Leary, Bryant, Lee, etc., etc.? So just be quiet.

Hayden must have a new round of bangbus pics. Only possible explanation why he still has a job and wasn't upgraded.

A special player with a big injury waiting to happen. We have enough of those players on this team.

I agree, it was the right move to pass on DeMarco and I would have loved to have picked up a RB in the draft but they were right to not force the issue. They would have needed to give up most of their draft to move up for Gurley and most of the other RBs weren't worth the draft position. The only guy I liked who was available at the Dallas draft was Buck Allen in the 3rd and he isn't lighting up the league, he probably wouldn't have earned playing time over Randle or DMC by this point in the season.

I wonder if Hayden, Broaddus and Weed have a language that they speak when they're together that other people can't understand (i.e. Scrub Language).

I wonder if Broaddus ever went to class at LSU. I generally like him but take him with a grain of salt, but it amazes me that even with some type of editor he writes in such poor grammar.
