Henson Era Over!

What a magnificent day, I log onto the Zone and find out Chutch v. 2.0 will not make the roster. Good riddance to a bad investment.

Good riddance. :laugh2: And to the all the Hensonites, I told you he was crap. I think Parcells saw more in Hutch than this guy.

See there. All your hard work has paid off.

Hooray failed investments for the Cowboys! What's not to like?

I don't know. Henson lasted longer with Parcells than either Quincy, or Hutch.

So, he was probably better than both.

Yet I doubt anyone will hold on to his name as someone I know. :laugh2:

Yeah, poor Henson! Hey, at least he leaves with a "clear head"! Poor QC left all stoned out, walking like a crazy man out of Valley Ranch...

Hey, where is Crankcase these days? Is he playing somewhere?

:lmao:

Maybe someone here can become "hensn" and post about their martyred hero through 2008? ;)

Not a wise post here Kartr. I think your missing the obvious. With Henson gone from the Boys, that's one less CFL job available for Carter.

If the owners didn't hate good looking, 6 foot 4 inch tall white guys, I'd be in the league right now.

Wrong! Carter already got kicked to the curb by the CFL...now, when that happens, you know you suck!!

:laugh2:

But, but, but Henson has prototypical size, a canon for an arm, rugged good looks, and shares the same name as the creator of the Muppets!

We will rue the day! (Can't believe noone has said that in 16 pages!)

Time for a new back-up QB controversy. The next candidate is ...

Henson also has crazy eyes like Hutch.:laugh2:

He certainly seemed patient enough with Quincy who was another one of Jerry's kids.

Of course, he'll be patient with any of Jerry's kids who can actually play.

Quincy's time spent with Bill - 1 year.

Drew Henson's time spent with Bill - 2 years.

Drew Henson > Quincy Carter.

Just using your criteria.

Nobody has crazy eyes like Horseface...! But, his eyes were not all "glazed over" like Carter's, from the hippie lettuce he puts on his BLTs...

:laugh2:

One thing I never understand is, IMHO, why would any real fan be glad when a player fails? Everyone has their favorite players which is cool, but to be glad that a player failed? Makes no sense to me, another wasted draft pick. Everyone rips the Dan trading his draft picks, but to tell you the truth, I'd rather trade them than waste them. Haven't we had enough wasted picks in the last decade? 2002 for instance, what was then dubbed, the greatest draft in Cowboy's history. We have what, 2 players left from that draft? Yes I know I'm rambling now, but I rarely post so please pardon my waste space. To me it seems, root for your favorites by all means, but never root for a Cowboy to fail. We want the best players on the field regardless if he's your "guy" or not.
Anyway, thats probably enough from me for you guys this season.

God Bless Tom Landry

You haven't been around here very long. People always root for the players that they don't like to fail.

I was a Henson supporter, but BP kept hinting that Romo had that "it" factor, and we got to see it, and now my belief is in Romo as a starter. Maybe not right now, but next year he has to start, or atleast prove to the Boys he can be our future.

Henson, bottom line is, he's not accurate.

i think it's more about getting rid of the dead wood. not wasting time "developing" guys who don't show much.

Exactly, now we can move forward with developing a qb who can actually play, not some hyped up loser who doesn't even know what sport he wants to play.:hammer:
