The Question said:
The 'Hensonite' will never admit that Romo is the better QB, nor will they even give Drew Bledsoe his due respect. You have to understand how their minds work in order to get a firm grasp on their biased ideology: They don't care about Bledsoe as he's nothing more than a 'stopgap' despite the fact he's one of the best QB's to ever play in this league, at least from a statistical standpoint. They believe that Henson is Troy Aikman or Roger Staubach reincarnated. They believe that just because Houston robbed us for a 3rd rounder for him that he is something special. They believe that Henson is a superstar being held back by Bill Parcells because he don't like him. They believe that Henson will be the starting QB for this team as early as next season. They believe that play in the NFLE, whether good or bad, matters. They refuse to concede to his failures in the MLB, which was his true love to begin with. For some reason they don't understand that professional football was 'Plan B'. The sun rises and sets with Henson as their leader rings the dinner bell and the sheep come running for their next meal.
The Answer has come to find that arguing with the Hensonite is pointless, they are too close minded and believe for some reason that a 3rd round bust is going to blossom like the ugly duckling. The Hensonite is a creature of habit, and they will hold on to their fantasy until the bitter end. Even in a few years when Henson fails at bagging groceries at the local supermarket they will still believe he has potential...paper or plastic sir?
I too look forward to the excuses this summer when Henson struggles yet again against 3rd string competition in the preseason and makes this roster by default as the 3rd QB. The Henson excuse generator is revved up and ready to go!

I do not know why I waste my time.
They don't care about Bledsoe as he's nothing more than a 'stopgap' despite the fact he's one of the best QB's to ever play in this league
If Bledsoe was 24 instead of 34 people would for the most part not see him as a "stop gap". Our defense is being built to contend for many years to come and Bledsoe will not be around.
They believe that Henson is Troy Aikman or Roger Staubach reincarnated
Show me one poster who is serious when they say he is the next Troy or Roger. I have seen things said to that effect tongue in cheek, but nobody has said that emphatically. He has great physicall potential to be an All Pro QB, but find one person who will put money on the statement that he is the next Troy or Roger. I will be waiting and you will be spinning.
They believe that just because Houston robbed us for a 3rd rounder for him that he is something special
Again, some think he "could" be special, that is a far cry from saying he "is" special.
They believe that Henson is a superstar being held back by Bill Parcells because he don't like him. They believe that Henson will be the starting QB for this team as early as next season
Again...I am from Missouri. Show me.
They believe that play in the NFLE, whether good or bad, matters
Knocking off rust is a good thing no matter what. His performance does not mean a hill of beans in the long run. Given the choice between good performance or bad performance, I would venture to say that good performance is a better "sign" than bad performance.
They refuse to concede to his failures in the MLB, which was his true love to begin with. For some reason they don't understand that professional football was 'Plan B'.
Which is 100% irrelevant.
The sun rises and sets with Henson as their leader rings the dinner bell and the sheep come running for their next meal.
I think the truth is closer to the fact that a few people hate Henson way more than anyone loves him.
I see it as he is already signed to a deal that is cap friendly. The 3rd round pick is already spent and can not be undone. What is the harm in giving a guy with a bunch of upside a few years to see if he will pan out or not?
As many of you like to point out he was the 3rd string QB last year. It is not like we will drop Henson off the roster and bring in Peyton Manning to take his place. He is a 3rd stringer what is the big deal?
I too look forward to the excuses this summer when Henson struggles yet again against 3rd string competition in the preseason and makes this roster by default as the 3rd QB
First of all interesting that you can predict the future. Interesting that you want to see him struggle. What are you going to do if he does struggle, come on the board and talk about yourself in the 3rd person? Wow, you are freaking cool.
I wish you Henson haters would at least use a little bit of common sense.
