The problem with the Cowboys offense is they have a quick strike wr core but they don't run a spread up tempo offense. They run the same te led scheme. All of our wrs are mainly possession receivers. Thats great for moving the chains but not for scoring. How many TDS are Zeke and Dak gonna have to average in order to make up for the lack of scoring from the te, wr, and other rbs on this team.

Sure Amari will open up some opportunities for our slot wrs who don't play much .But theirs no other rb involvement and our te core has one rinky dink TD catch all year which is pathetic. You're basically rotating slot guys around a practice squad level te that doesn't produce on paper.

We should have drafted or traded for a couple of tes each year the way we use them. We did nothing but watch the washed up 4 td a year te do squat for about 5 years too long. For a team that is set on playing an every snap te we sure haven't had any talent at the position. That's not on Dak. He doing his part and winning games with his legs and is 10x's more likely to Score.

How is he supposed to thrive in a te led offense w the sorriest team core in NFL HISTORY

Is it Rod Smith's or our fbs fault that they don't get any opportunities to contribute?
Is it Daks fault? He is scoring and getting sacked at record levels. He's making plays to beat the Blitz in a scheme that takes too long for plays to develop.

Is it the Nfls fault because they changed the rules to favor the wrs and QB and Dallas is still handicapped with their everydown te formation from the 70's versus today's fast quick hitting high powered spread formations and dual rb tandem built offenses. Is it also individual NFL Fantasy messing things up for competition at the rb position?

No. It's our one dimensionsal schemes and coaching and plays that are easy to predict. You can overcome poor oline play and blitzing if you have a quick strike offense. But even with Beasely, Amari, Gallop, Austin and Zeke being pretty good quick targets they are still using the same formations and plays that hasn't beat the blitz since 1995 lol

Still no te and we're past the trade deadline So how about some More rbs and wrs?

Cut all the tes and bring back Witten and watch him not score either? Or cut bait with some of these possession receiver who can't exclusively run comeback routes.

Our scheme is a QB killer. We can't beat the Blitz on 3rd down and long and don't have enough scoring threats getting touches

Lol at y'all who think Cooper is some feared #1 WR that will change our offense. OBJ is much, much better and look how lousy the Giants are.

Defenses aren't soiling themselves now that we have Cooper.

I see the same delusion here I saw preseason. I guess it's fan hope and optimism but this trade was idiotic.
Haha the Giants have no running game and a qb who can’t move faster than a turtle. We are a no1 receiver away from a 2016/1st half of 2017 type offense. The Giants are a dumpster fire, terrible comparison.
