Never mind. It isn't worth me breaking out another "passing tree" lesson.

Believe what you want. I'll not waste my time or yours.

Ok I see

You brought out the "I hope you are joking statement", hoping I would think I'd said something incorrect and drop it so you dont have to do any work thinking up another excuse for Henson's "cannon".

I'm really waiting for Hos to throw the spin cycle too full speed as he tries to explain velocity is how well you can throw the ball out of bounds.
I said something about out of bounds throws?

You've got me mistaken with someone else. I'm talking about throws on slants and not the 30 yard variety.

You don't think velocity might have made it harder for Rolle to knock it away from Crayton huh? Sad....

I would also like to point out that I felt that Drew Henson played OK ... and I am no longer worried about signing Vinny ...

I've also changed my mind about the possibility of one of these young guys starting ...

Take that however you may ...

Oh Dear Lord :banghead:

#1: When the ball reached Crayton, it was 8 yards deep in the endzone. Any more velocity and the ball goes out the endzone. That's what they call "touch", it's what you use when throwing to the back of the endzone. You cant rifle a 30+ pass to the endzone with a defender behind your WR. This was something I learned in 3rd grade pee-wee

#2: Rolle didnt knock it away, he got the tip of a finger on it which didnt affect the ball's flight at all. Crayton still had a great chance to catch it.

The "only" way to complete that pass is to lob it?

Okay.

Can you rifle a pass 30+ yards to the endzone with a defender right on the WRs tail? :laugh2:

I haven't seen a fact presented. Just opinions.

Yes, saying Romo completed more passes for more yards isnt a fact all, but a fan sitting in the stands saying they can see Henson's ball had more "zip" is rock solid....

Can I? No. Neither can Romo. Can it be done? Sure. Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not the ball having that much air under it allowed the CB to close the gap.

Like I said, waste of my time. Say whatever you want. I'm done trying to have an adult conversation with you on this HH.

Lets go for a simple physics lesson here:

Qb
'
'
'
'
'
'
'
DB
WR

Now, last time I checked, unless the QB has superpowers, a football cannot travel through a human body.

There was a thread about how at the combine Romo's arm was clocked at 57 mph ... about the same speed or velocity Brett Favre throws at - no joke ...

I can't find that thread though now ...

That ball seemed to me to be thrown in the back of the endzone where a reciever like Keyshawn could bring it down ... it was a jump ball and the defender didn't have a chance to intercept it ...
