I challenged you to show me where "Most" scouting reports rated Campbell ahead of Rodgers. You quickly shifted to "some circles" having him ahead.
So, I asked for you to prove those "some circles."
I'm still waiting.
The Commanders took some grief for how much they paid to draft Campbell. Many of their fans were even negative about it. Put yourself in the Commanders PR man's position, would you put out a report that was anything but glowing given the fan displeasure? Be honest.
Also, these reports are from mini camps, not actual Training Camps or work with pads. It will take more than these to convince me of anything. Especially since I never called you on this in the first place. I called you on your inaccurate statement that Campbell was rated ahead of Rodgers on "most" scouting reports. That is 100% false.
For the record, I never said Rodgers was going to be a better QB than Jason Campbell. (I'm not exactly sure why I should care which one turns out better. Last I checked we didn't draft either one of them and had 2 chances at each.) If you choose to believe I think that without asking me, be my guest.
I simply called you on the inaccuracies of your post. There were a lot of them and you apparently can't refute them. I'm not shocked.
If you call me out into the street for a gunfight, don't bring a water pistol.

remember, you told us the Browns were all over QC and that their coaching staff knew what a great addition he'd be...

As for kartr, I don't understand how posting how great Jason Campbell is is relevant to the Cowboys forum, that's why I asked my original question.

Either could ultimately be better. My guess is Rodgers will be because he is not surrounded by "real men of genius" in WAsh.
Direct questions/points prolly should be handled in PM form.
I dont want Hostile's spamlol.

kartr said:I was pretty impressed with Santana Moss last year when he had Carter throwing to him. He put up top 5 receiver numbers during that period. I believe that Campbell has similar skills to Carter, but is more advanced as a rookie. Couple Campbell's athleticism, experience and maturity and with Joe Gibb's reputation, plus Clinton Portis skills, not to mention Rod Gardner= a young Keyshawn and Taylor Jacobs and Chris Cooley=Jason Witten and a healthier offensive line, I believe their on to something, despite Snyder. I hated George Allen, but I've always respected Gibbs. Class person, great coach, even if he is a Commander.
"All the Scouts?" Once again, you are out on a limb that has no tree trunk. I am not just going to take your word for it. Show me. Prove it.kartr said:You should care about Campbell, because he is in our division and we'll be facing him twice a year. Many hear continually mock Campbell's being drafted in the first instead of in the lower rounds, but at the Senior bowl, all the scouts were convinced he was the best qb there. Obviously since Rogers is a Junior he wasn't there, so you can't compare them head to head, but you can compare the experience of the two qb's;you can compare the conferences they've played in. I haven't had the time to research where I saw the assessment of Campbell as being worthy of a high draft, but I will find it soon.
kartr said:. I just wish they were on our roster instead of who we have at their positions.
kartr said:This is exactly what Dallas is thinking about Henson. Do you really expect them to say, we were fools for not passing up on a guy that everyone else did?

that ain't too hard to believe is it hos? The two qbs who are better (rodgers and smith) were juiniors last year,Hostile said:"All the Scouts?" Once again, you are out on a limb that has no tree trunk. I am not just going to take your word for it. Show me. Prove it.
The fact of the matter is Aaron Rodgers was rated in the top 10 draft picks by just about every pre draft service. Now you want that conveniently forgotten?
I like Campbell but Washington made a poor trade. I wouldn't have done that for any QB in this Draft Class and certainly not as early as they did it to tip their hand. If they had held their picks they likely get him anyway. Like I said, we passed on him twice. If he was that good I doubt we would have no matter how much they want to see from Romo and Henson.
I apologize Tio, but I'm not sure what point you want me to consider.Tio said:that ain't too hard to believe is it hos? The two qbs who are better (rodgers and smith) were juiniors last year,
I figured this is the statement you didn't agree with. I think "all the scouts" is overrating his performance some, and this particular poster is known to do just that, but I don't consider it far fetched that Campbell was considered the best generally speaking. I hope he has a link to back it up, or else he really made a fool of himself. Wouldn't be the first time either.Senior bowl, all the scouts were convinced he was the best qb there
:laugh2:I found this quite funny.Alexander said:So, you have a thing for Jason Campbell too?
Can you change your name to Kampbul?
It might be an improvement.
Okay, gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. Good point.Tio said:I figured this is the statement you didn't agree with.
