I don't know about that real man stuff, real men provide for their families and plenty of them don't let their pride stop that.Absolutely correct.
And to add: (I borrowed some of this from Yinyammer)
ALL future Dallas Cowboys head coaches must have a degree of desperation and pliability in order to accept the job.
I say again, "in order to accept the job".
When they make the personal decision to accept this job for the sole purpose of enhancing their retirement portfolio then you get the continuation of this current Fat boy Yes Man type regime.
McCheese totally sold out both his credibilit/ legacy by accepting this job knowing full well what Jerry's comfort level would be required of to be the head coach.
But to absolve this fraud of this Campo-esque joke of a coaching performance is ridiculous. If he had any coaching integrity in him and wasnt just looking for a pay day then he should not have accepted the job.
And YES fat boy "should be" totally responsible but he likes that check too much to ruffle any feathers like a real man would do.
I agree, McC knew exactly what he was getting into and he needed a job and picking up 16-20M over 4 years is a small price to pay.
I think it is we who do not understand the role money plays in this and we see this as something different and it isn't. Norv Turner and John Fox have made more in walk away money than most will make in their lifetime.
McC was probably coached by Garrett going into that interview on exactly what Booger liked and he gave it to him in 12 hours.
The other plus to this job is that the rumor of the Joneses involvement always gives the HC a lifeline.
