Holy Crap!

Wow, I'm really surprised by the forum reaction. Seems like most everyone really loves this move/pick.

I personally would have preferred
1) keep the two picks and get 2 players
2) get a passrusher

But if he's a shutdown guy...well that's something.

.....not me: see my post above......this is just more flash and dash: still suck in the trenches. Won't make the playoffs next year IMO

A first and a second for a corner... I bet RisenStar loves it.

We didn't give up a first, we gave up only a second. We just swapped our firsts.

...........hope they can cover up to ten seconds per pass attempt when Eli, Vick and RG3 drop back because that's what it will be.....this is just like the Dez Bryant pick: everyone will rant and rave but in the end: the trenches are ignored again: stupid. :bang2: :bang2: (PS; don't tell me "the whole draft if still left".....we don't have a second rounder now: will there be difference makers at safety or dline from the third round on? Of course not)

our pass rush is not that bad; and if our wealth of CBs can add a second then Almost Anthony might lose his name

I just have to say, I beat Sdogo by 4 minutes on the trade, and 1 minute on the pick and trade details, all with speculation.

I'm kind of a big deal. Ha!!!

Haha I didn't see it. Congrats and thank you then !!!

What is so special about this guy?

Nothing I see that would justify giving up a second round pick for him.

Great man to man corner, which opens up the blitz scheme for Ryan.

But we spent that first on the player. The second was to move up.

I'm happy to see barron go right after claiborne. it's well deserved. he's a stud. i think he will grow into the being the best safety in the league. that's my new bold prediction

I'm not so sure about it. I know he's an excellent player, but I hate passing up a top-50 player.

Like Norm said, we just used a first and a second to replace an outgoing first (Jenkins)...

Norm is acting kinda crazy. Norm is acting like Dallas is kicking Jenkins out to make this trade. Unless you think Jenkins is worth resigning to market value, you were going to kick him out anyway after this year. Then what? Sign next year's version of Brandon Carr for another $50 million?

We were gonna spend it on a player anyway, why not on the best defensive player in the draft?

Welp at least we wont hear complaining about Brockers or Poe.

I wasn't complaining about the particular player, just saying that it cost us two top-45 picks to do it.

Call me a TROLL, but man Claiborne is going to have a love hate relationship in Dallas. He didnt look happy and Jason and Jerry gave up a lot to get him.

Geez, I can't imagine why he wouldn't be happy unless he expected to go even earlier.

I don't like giving up the second, but to give up a second to secure the best defensive player of the draft... Well.

So much for the team being predictable :)

Love this pick. Regret giving up the second, but I love this pick.

wealth of CBs for the first time ever. We have 3 starters and Scandrick- probably the best 4th CB in the NFL.
That's true. Mike Jenkins went from our best corner to iur third best in one offseason.

Right, but we still spent a first and a second on a CB. That's a lot. He better be REAL.
