they both gave up big plays.roy gave up 2 to moss and yes taylor gave up 3 to glenn in his career.not to mention the game winner to crayton.

Deion might be the best football player of all time, im sorry but the guy is better than Green. you dont have to know a thing about Green to understand that Deion is the best CB in NFL History. and you call me a homer, you praise Sean Taylor like he is the Zeus of the All-Pro, yet he hasnt even been considered all-pro, better yet, he hasnt been to the pro-bowl. yea he is a great player but he is not god and is just 1 notch down from Roy Williams, Troy Polamalu and Rodney Harrison when in his prime, just to mention the guys still in the league.

You have to actually prove something to win a debate. Darrell Green is a more complete cornerback than Deion EVER was.

1. Darrell Green could tackle.
2. Darrell Green played at a high level for two decades, and was shutting recievers down before Deion even entered the league.
3. Name one other reciever beyond Irvin who consistently beat Green. Only an idiot would claim a corner wasn't good just because one reciever, out of the countless recievers he faced in two decades got the better of him. Not only is your logic as bad as your grammar (yes, I'm going on your grammar, because a grown man should know better), you make excuses for why Deion got burned.

So because I don't have a video of Rice burning Deion as Falcon, which he did twice a season, it never happened? Keep spinning, junior. I also don't want to hear your excuses on why Marvin Harrison embarassed him so badly. You said he was old then, big ****ing deal. He was still younger than Green was when he was still shutting recievers down.

Newman proved last year that he can cover the Steve Smith's of the league man up and still get it done against some of the bigger receivers as well. Newman is in a class of his own in the league right now when it comes to coverage. This is because he's probably the fastest CB in pads in the league. Chasing down Randy Moss without an angle last year was proof to me. Newman's rookie year he had a problem that he didn't look back for the ball or he would have had a ton more INTs and thus would have made more of a name for himself. The point of this is that while I think that Rogers is going to be a damn fine CB in the NFL, he's not the same kind of CB that Newman is. If there was a designation between corners like there is safeties, Newman would be more like a FS and Rogers would be more like a SS (just like Henry).

great, great point about the leauge favoring quicker WRs because of the no-contact rules, Rogers has Newman's speed, but he doesn't have his quickness and isn't as fluid in his hips as Newman is, that's why I think it's a stretch at the moment to say that Rogers will develop into a Newman, again, great point

I'd definitely put him on Champ's level in coverage, he was better in that dept. last year, but I wouldn't put him in Champ's company in terms of playing the football, but then, CBs have to cover 1st and foremost
