Hope we don't suffer the Texans fate

I'm sure many of us watched the Pats/Texans game last night.

It sure seemed to me the Texans were overly confident in that game..

playing a 3rd string QB seemed to have taken them out of the game.

I seems like they bought in to all the media hype about how much trouble the Pats were in.

Guess not.

Hope we don't commit the same mistake against the Bears.

We've seen backups like Colt McCoy come in and light up our defense, I doubt our team is relaxing. We will win, but Hoyer will move the ball well against our defense.

I think they know every team gives their absolute best against us. That combined with being on prime time should help us stay focused.

The problem for the Texans wasn't over confidence, it was the fact that the Patriots whoop their ***** every time they play them, and will continue to do so until further notice.

Meanwhile we're facing a Bears team that got dismantled by the Eagles and lost 5 or more players to injury during the game.

I don't see the comparison.

Texans waking up this morning knowing they can't beat the Pats without Brady,thinking how in the world can they win against Brady.
This is a game that could send them speeding down hill.

Yeah they weren't overconfident they simply were overmatched. No way around it. They knew even with a third string qb they could lose.

short week of preparation for the most difficult team to prepare for, then your qb is erratic and inaccurate and the biggest issue you fumbled two kickoffs and gave them the ball inside the 20 twice. Thats why they lost.

Well. Thats what a real HC and coaching staff can do for a club and its fans. What would Belichick have done with last years Cowboys. It would be great if Jerry woke up and tried to hire Bill and set him up in Dallas as GM. Superbowl here we come.

The Pats have a system and a coaching staff that prepares like non other week in week out.

We throw in a wrinkle here or there and get what the defense gives us. I don't think anyone is overconfident. These coaches are playing for their jobs.

I think this thought that every team gives their best against us, meaning the Cowboys, is highly over-rated. In the NFL, you only have 16 opportunities to win and most if not all teams give their best regardless of who they are playing. I doubt the Commanders effort against the Giants this week is somehow going to be less than when they played the Cowboys last week.

Maybe this was more relevant back in the days when the Cowboys built these dynasty type teams that everyone wanted to knock off, but to be honest, the Cowboys the last 20 years or so have just been your average NFL team.

Regardless of our game it is simply amazing to sit and watch what Belichek can do over and over again. I hate it and am 100% jealous of the success this organization continues to have regardless of how bare the cupboard is at various times. He is simply the best .....ughh...sorry puked in my mouth. Hard not to respect a guy who hangs with Jimmy though. Back to the OP this clearly is and could be a trap game red would be well served to have dinner with Belichek the next two nights..

The Cowboys are the better club and should manhandle the Bears. There is no way to compare the Bears to the Patriots.
