Hope we don't suffer the Texans fate

The Pats have a system and a coaching staff that prepares like non other week in week out.

We throw in a wrinkle here or there and get what the defense gives us. I don't think anyone is overconfident. These coaches are playing for their jobs.

We'd like to think that.

If the Country Club mentality is real, though, they could also see this weekend's game as another 18-rounds of leisurely golf. Who knows.

I'd like to think they will take it to the Bears -- a team that is primed for destruction in many ways -- and beat them by 20.

Regardless of our game it is simply amazing to sit and watch what Belichek can do over and over again. I hate it and am 100% jealous of the success this organization continues to have regardless of how bare the cupboard is at various times. He is simply the best .....ughh...sorry puked in my mouth. Hard not to respect a guy who hangs with Jimmy though. Back to the OP this clearly is and could be a trap game red would be well served to have dinner with Belichek the next two nights..
Belichick doesn't eat at the kiddies tables.

Lunchable at the kiddie table, to be exact. Belichick eats rare prime rib at the all-you-can-eat Brazilian Churrascaria.

short week of preparation for the most difficult team to prepare for, then your qb is erratic and inaccurate and the biggest issue you fumbled two kickoffs and gave them the ball inside the 20 twice. Thats why they lost.

brissett didn't do anything, its kind of funny reading this stuff around the internet this morning. He was like a running back.

Have to give Pats their due they took care of business, but Houston played absolutely horribly. Brisset was playing short fields all night. Like 20 yards type short. Kickoff fumble might be the worst type of turnover.

New England's defense is excellent and has been. This is why they keep winning. People think of them and immediately think offense because of Brady, but new england is and always has been a great defensive team.

This is where Belichick is the master, defense. You have weapons and he removes them. Its frustrating and teams get behind and out of their gameplan.

I'm sure many of us watched the Pats/Texans game last night.

It sure seemed to me the Texans were overly confident in that game..

playing a 3rd string QB seemed to have taken them out of the game.

I seems like they bought in to all the media hype about how much trouble the Pats were in.

Guess not.

Hope we don't commit the same mistake against the Bears.

Here's hoping.....

How can we ever win and beat the patriots in a big game when they have Bellicheck and we have Garrett? Coaching matters. The gap between the top and the bottom is very wide.

The Pats special team and defense dominated the Texans. That is where they lost the game. It had nothing to do with a 3rd string QB who passed for only 103 yards.

For the most part they sign and draft smart, tough players. Bennett aside.

And we tend to lean towards mental head cases that they think they can coach up and baby sit.

Then you didnt watch the game. Their QB did EVERYTHING he needed to do. Once they were up 20 all they had to do was run the ball.

Every play.

The Texans had horrible field position all game (starting tons of drives on the 10 yard line) and crossed the 50 only one time. Their inability to put together at least one scoring drive had everything to do with the Pats defense. Add in the special teams fumbling issues and the Texans were never in the game. Edelman could have been the QB and won that game.
