We could have gotten Branch (I think) who is much more of a unique talent in a higher need postion. Anyway, water under the bridge.

Nope... Branch was taken at 33 by Arizona. Wouldn't have been there at 36. We lost out on Kevin Kolb.... and Jarrett and Rice.

Well we all saw how it worked out last year when Ellis went down...other than Ware, we did not have a pass rush. So I would say the deal fell just right...we got our pass rusher + a very good player next year. With two 1st round picks you control the draft.

For better or worse, we are now very deep at 3-4 OLBs (and, by extension, deep at ILB as well).
