Last 4 to 5 years of draft picks have put the team in this position. Can't keep missing on 1st and 2nd rd picks. Guyton, Sam Williams, Kneeling, Mazi, Spoonmaker, Kelvin Joseph.

These are 6 out 10 players drafted in 1st and 2nd rd in last 5 years. Franchise killer.

Thank the GM. Guyton is much better and keeps improving. Just needs to stay healthy. Kneeland is the same. Just injured too much. No clue what Williams is doing. All the tools but it isn't showing up on Sundays.
Kneeland has been warm doo doo. So bad. I am so disappointed in him. Arguably worse than Sam Williams, which is saying something.

Guyton doesn’t belong in that group. They for sure have issues drafting defense it’s clear as day now but makes you wonder if it’s the development.

Yeah, Guyton shouldn't have been a 1st, but he's looking viable.

This is the cold hard truth. Since the Cowboys do not use free agency, they have to draft better than anyone else. When they fail to do so the impact is much greater.

BTW, I see some fans are still defending Guyton. I am not one of those fans. I think he is at best an average OT, maybe worse. He was one of the most penalized players last year, and after last night, he is on pace to be near the top again this year. On top of that he give up a lot of pressures. He needs to get better, a lot better. The entire offensive line looked like hot garbage last night at times.

Guyton's biggest problem is between his ears. The ability is there, but he's a bonehead. Kneeland hasn't been all that bad. Williams is another talented player, but a bonehead.

They really did. That's why I'm not jumping on the "Dak still sucks" train. He didn't have much opportunity to do his job. Yes, he screwed the pooch a few times, but when you're just trying to survive, it's hard to concentrate.
