The offensive line is cheaper and will be together barring injury for at least the next two seasons. Pickens is probably going to ask for more money than CeeDee. There is no way the Cowboys will pay him that money even if Jerry wanted too.

Well, we have 4 options here with Pickens: tag in 2026, sign to a crazy rich contract, trade now, or he walks and we get nothing. Jerry probably wants to tag him but then you might have a disgruntled player. Like it or not, the smart thing to do is trade him to a contender for draft picks now.

Tag him and trade him it’s simple. I would actually start giving him the ball more so his price will continue to rise. You want him to be the number 1 player not just wide receiver in free agency then you can get a haul.

He's already done enough during CD's absence to have a healthy market of suitors. He's proven that with a decent QB, he can put up numbers and catch deep balls with an uncanny ability to track a football. As the cowboys continue to fade from playoff contention, you know his agent will be in his ear cautioning against injury. So, I expect to see less from him in regard to heroic catches. But, it's already on tape.

Jerry needs to have dialogue with David at the beginning of the offseason. Teams like Tennessee, Carolina, Atlanta, Baltimore, Cleveland, ect… Will be interested in a 25 year old stud receiver. Jerry don’t be stupid……

We drafted Schoonmaker over Tucker Kraft. A round early too btw

that entire draft was from a cowboy perspective was POO! IMO. I like Overshown but he cant stay on the field so hes POO until proven otherwise as well

Last 4 to 5 years of draft picks have put the team in this position. Can't keep missing on 1st and 2nd rd picks. Guyton, Sam Williams, Kneeling, Mazi, Spoonmaker, Kelvin Joseph.

These are 6 out 10 players drafted in 1st and 2nd rd in last 5 years. Franchise killer.

I mean Cowboys might have the best O I've ever seen them have. The D will get better one day. McClay is still dominant, however he usually misses on second round picks because he doesn't value RBs or Safetys which are by far and away the best second round value.

Supposedly that it was it was down to at 12. In defense of the Cowboys they got scared away by Mazi but Nolan appeared to be closer of a prospect to Carter in natural talent.

Grant is like Davis for Philadelphia. While Nolan is like Carter. You need both. So hard to find defensive tackles. I didn’t mind the Mazi pick. The Chiefs were going to take him if we didn’t. The Chiefs, Eagles, and Ravens will always draft those guys no matter who they have on their lines.

Defensive tackle is a hard position to find. You have to throw picks and free agents at the position. The Cowboys seem to draft one and hope for the best. You have to draft two a draft and bring in a free agent as well.
