They showed a clip of Lawrence talking about the Hotboys nickname and the announcers said Taco and DLaw came up with it.Wasn't it D-LAW that was proudly bragging about their "Hotboys" nickname during the game sideline interview?
Hot boy is New Orleans slang for a person who came from nothing and fought to make a name for himself. Listen to a Lil Wayne or Juvenile album.
They showed a clip of Lawrence talking about the Hotboys nickname and the announcers said Taco and DLaw came up with it.
They asked Joe Looney about it and asked if the offensive lineman had a nickname and he said they call themselves the Fatboys, but the way it was said implied it was just a joke.
Ya,man! It's so "San Francisca swish",,, maybe the VILLAGE PEOPLE will cut a tribute tune to itIt's embarrassing that the "lead dog" for our DL would come up with something that sissified.
Why is no one talking about the new nickname for the DL? I for one think it's kind of catchy. Hot Boys gonna take the league by storm this year!
We're pretending that's not it and it'll change to not that.
Because the name sounds like something from the 80’s. Or a 90’s boy band. I would like something meaner. Why is no one talking about the new nickname for the DL? I for one think it's kind of catchy. Hot Boys gonna take the league by storm this year!
Just can’t roll with that name.If I hear one announcer refer to them at any point in a game this season as hotboys the TV immediately gets turned off.
In order to understand.......you have to get it........
Yeah um... No. Lol. They can call themselves whatever they want if they dominate I guess.
