Hotboys

Wasn't it D-LAW that was proudly bragging about their "Hotboys" nickname during the game sideline interview?
They showed a clip of Lawrence talking about the Hotboys nickname and the announcers said Taco and DLaw came up with it.

They asked Joe Looney about it and asked if the offensive lineman had a nickname and he said they call themselves the Fatboys, but the way it was said implied it was just a joke.

Yeah -- I heard the same thing. Let's thank our lucky stars they chose to let it go . . . ;)

Why is no one talking about the new nickname for the DL? I for one think it's kind of catchy. Hot Boys gonna take the league by storm this year!

Hot boys? Sounds like a bar in San Francisco, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Lol! I think we can pick a better nickname if we must have one.

We're pretending that's not it and it'll change to not that.

Yeah, not so much. I need to scrub my eyeballs w/ sandpaper now cuz I’m getting an image of them all oiled up and in helmets, pads, cleats and speedos.

Thanks a ton OP.

Because the name sounds like something from the 80’s. Or a 90’s boy band. I would like something meaner.

Yeah um... No. Lol. They can call themselves whatever they want if they dominate I guess.

No what lol? I'm telling you guys where they may have got the name from so you guys can get the visions male strippers out of your head.

"Charlton came up with "The Hot Boys" label. He said the linemen are even battling during camp to be specific members of the '90s hip-hop group of the same name.

"Everybody is going to want to be [Lil] Wayne, so we'll see," said Charlton, who spent much of the offseason training alongside Lawrence. "
