Thought perhaps I knew you. Just a feeling.
I've been a forum mod somewhere or other from 2004 to early this year, I know how to behave.
I don't understand trying to post in the game day threads. It's just comments, and most get washed away immediately, so there's no discussion or feedback. I really don't get wanting to post in there, though I do try occasionally.
Lol. I can’t wait.If the Cowboys don't get a 1st down on the first drive and the other team does– This place melts like a Yankee Candle.
And then it gets worse from there.
You need a strong constitution to put up with all the whining and crying in the game thread.
They do.
For many it seems the greatest adversity they face in life is losing a sock in the dryer.
Those are my least favorite fans. There are melters, but there are also the true fan virtue signalers. There isn't just one way to be a fan.
well said. There are melters, but there are also the true fan virtue signalers. There isn't just one way to be a fan.
Do they have those here? Love live group chats. Had a friend from the old boards that actually opened a cheap web sight just to instal a live chat for a hand full of us during the games. It was a catch!
It melts. The gameday threads are cool, btw, but I prefer the live group chats.
Imagine Armageddon... but worse.
And there's the key. Learn to ignore those who aren't worth a response. Took me years to be able to do it, but it made my time on the boards much, much better.P. is for Passionate...and that's the best description I can label the Dallas fans with. The ones that act totally unreasonable and unhinged about every small thing,on a 24/7 loop are the ones that I ignore. Its white noise. Plus it gets my blood pressure out of whack lol...so I avoid the fire Garrett threads ,which are redundant, same as all the Dez threads.. Been a fan over 40 years now and approaching 50 years old, so this ole boy has learned to ignore all the noise if you will. What I like are results...real debate and possible solutions. … We all fall into the passionate category, even if none of us know what the heck we are talkin about...lol...and that's ok.
LOL!
Yeah, like a zombie apocalypse with a nuclear war combined with running out of your favorite salsa.
In other words the worst of the worst.
ditto...I use to think I could engage with them and reason, but learned it was mostly a failed idea. So like u,I learned to simply not respond. Its all fodder anyways. If u remember over on the old DC message boards that you and I were on for many years,it was arguably even worse. It got REAL vile over there at times. And there's the key. Learn to ignore those who aren't worth a response. Took me years to be able to do it, but it made my time on the boards much, much better.
