Hindsight is 20/20 and I hate to say it, but I think things would have been tremendously different had we kept #29.
Where I think we messed up was not going for Peterson.
Had we acquired him I think he saves our season without Romo. He is truly a guy that can overcome having Garrett as a coach and no Romo on the field.
Anyone else available to us and I think we're still 0-7 without Romo.
They seem to run fine when Ryan Matthews runs the ball.
Also, maybe that's just what Murray really is when he doesn't run behind the Cowboys O-Line.
He's had more seasons like he's having in Philly then his 1 giant season last year.
lol no he doesn't. What does Peterson do against a consistent 8 or 9 man box? Same thing McFadden did Sunday.
Fairly bad. Trusting Randle was bad enough. There were backs like Karlos Williams to be had in the draft.
We lost our winning formula win Romo went down.
We were 2-0 with Romo and these RB's.
I don't believe Murray has 1 win when Romo ever went out. We are Romo dependent. Not Murray dependent.
They didnt mess up the rb situation at all.
No rookie rb would of offset the loss of Tony Romo.

Did not say it would. Williams in particular has had some good performances, with a less than stellar OL and their backup QB, who might not be any better than Cassel or Weeden.
I realize how crucial Romo is, but to come up with an epic losing streak equalled by only the worst squads in our entire history, logic states that you start looking at other possible reasons for the skid.
Right now, even one win provided by leaning on a run game to steal a victory would have everyone feeling a little differently.
When you lose your QB, the natural tendency is to ride your running game, which we really have not during this time period. We have had some decent performances which honestly could have been better with a better talent. Contrary to what has become the running theme around here, it is not completely impossible to win one game out of seven without your starting QB.
