How big a boost do we expect from D Laws return?

He had offseason back surgery, can't remember what was wrong, just remember the problem with his back was worse than they initially thought once they went in there. Anyway, doesnt sound like this clown is gonna play. Hopefully, after nearly a decade of ineptness on the defensive side of the ball, Jed Clampett and son can start to fix this thing.

Well, he has had 4 weeks off and the inactivity didn't do much to help. So, I'm not expecting much from him. Will he even be active is the question right now. Not a nice way to follow up a 4 week suspension.

I'm guessing he won't even be active this Sunday.

The reporter on the NFL channel really made it sound like he might not be a go this week.

Yes, that ordeal really screwed with Hardy's mind.

I do wonder "what if" Hardy was really innocent. A girl obviously tried to blackmail EE this year so it could have happened to Hardy also.
Not saying he is innocent of all things, I think both had issues, BUT I grew up in NC and have a lot of family still there. The word on the "streets" was he moved her out of his apt. after sending her to Miami while he moved her things. That set everything else in motion.

I don't think Hardy had anything to do with it. He came on in the playoffs his rookie year. He had a very good season last year. I think the switch to the other side will help too.

He came on for 1 game in the playoffs.

He did nothing last year prior to Hardy being on the opposite side of him.

I would like to think he's going to do something but I just don't believe he will be.

Lawrence is expected to return from his four-game suspension on Sunday, however, it's expected to be in a limited role. He was only taking part in individual drills during practice Wednesday and Thursday. Last year's team-leader in sacks has been working through a back injury.

"He is ready," Jones said. "He had a good week. You'll see him in the rotation, and see him most assuredly on passing downs."

I would think he would want to play inspired football after this suspension, and him being shamed for that.
He may play like a wild man, who knows.
I predict 2 sacks in cin game for him.

8 sacks in his first real full season is nothing? I'm done with you.

It takes him half the season to get going and with him suspended the past few weeks who knows what he'll provide. He did absolutely nothing in the dress rehearsal game vs Seattle in preseason. Having Hardy on the field helped free him up last season but without a viable pass rusher opposite him I'm not expecting a lot.

How can DLaw have a hurt back? Dude hasnt practiced in 4 weeks?

I think Lawrence will come out with fresh legs and should be able to get pressure. He has had a full training camp. I do think because of the suspension my concern would be endurance, I think Dallas will have to rotate him in more than some others until he can build up some endurance.

Hopefully he can disconnect those fresh legs from his back...
