To think Collins also missed a lot of TC and pre-season and started the regular season still not fully healed. He's just coming into his own, looks and plays like W. Sap.

We have to overly rely on strong play from the secondary because our pressure is inconsistent.

Our DTs are strong, but inconsistency at linebacker leaves some gaps that have been exploited by some backs.

If we decide to keep him and he's in shape, Rolando might can help with the linebacker issues this year before being replaced by Jaylon Smith next year. I'm not sure we have the answer at DE unless Gregory can translate his skills to the field in a hurry when he comes back.

Most likely, we're still looking for a dynamic rush end next offseason and possibly a standout middle linebacker, unless Smith fully recovers. We'll also need at least one starting corner if we let both Mo and Carr walk, and I hope we don't just try to get by with Brown becoming that starter.

You draft the best player available. If that is another Zeke, you pull the trigger. Another Zack Martin, done. The next Tyron, do it. Just accumulate talent.

It does no good to draft a defensive end if he isn't any better than the ones you already have on the team and piss off the pick. Hopefully talent lines up with need at some point, but don't force the pick. That's why we are getting better and better as time goes on.

Collins is doing great at DT so far. Solid pickup based on a limited sample size.

Law is solid, but so far unspectacular. I love the way we have been drafting, but we have to get a lot more production out of DLaw to justify the 2nd and 3rd we gave to go up and get him.

Admittedly, that's a lofty comparison for a rookie DT, but if he falls somewhere between that and Melton (pre-Cowboys Melton, that is), I think we got a good one.

Not elite yet, but definitely climbing the rankings and now above average, which is all we need to complement the offense we have.
