How can anyone defend these coaches?

Flash for you.

I didn't build or coach Team Mediocrity, therefore, it is not my fault. Farthest from it. Only the most earnest of excuse-makers would try to place 'blame' anywhere than other than where it deservedly belongs.

I'm not about to apologize for being less than thrilled in coming from behind and beating a bottom-feeder team with no quarterback - at home - while shutting down our own running game after early success.

Trouble is, that they've shown what they are capable of offensively, most recently against the Broncos. The cat's out of the bag. No putting the genie back in the bottle. And then they follow it up with lame efforts like the pas two weeks.

As for the pass defense?

Completely unacceptable, and showing me that the game has clearly passed Kiffin by.

Any again, inexcusable considering the investments made in the secondary.

Jones, Garrett, Kiffin, and everyone not named Marinelli are out of excuses.

As are any fans without blinders on.

Cool. You stick to your guns then. Hope that works out for you in the long run. Cheers, stash.

Any offense isn't going to be consistent with our run to pass ratio. Been saying it all year. You have to be able to run the ball. We can't/don't.

A delay of game after a stop of play after a kickoff or punt.

Hurrying to try and score and getting out of bounds when we had over a minute and 2 timeouts and was less than 15 yards away.

And last week, we had to use a timeout to start the 4th qtr after the break at the end of the 3rd.

We just have a coach that has no idea what he is doing.

Couldn't agree with you more.

We do half of the defense's work ourselves.

An interesting stat here for everyone. I think this stat describes Jason Garrett as a head coach in 9 games we have not attempted a single 4th down. How about that? He is way to calculated and does
Not have the balls to make a call to go for it in a 4th down. Unreal that this team has even won despite him as HC

Because the problem in Dallas is not with the coaching?

I know, I know. You're on a high from second-guessing every single play call again this week, and so that's what's got you worked up. But the facts are that this is really not a bad team, and that the limitations we do have are not with the coaching. And I don't care how many of you guys have willfully convinced yourselves otherwise, or how often you repeat it to make yourselves feel like it's actually the case.
It's not the coaching because you don't want it to be the coaching. No matter what it is, you won't admit it anyways. If it's the players, take a guess who drafts these players? If it's other coaches, take a guess who hired these coaches. It's either your boy Garrett, or your boy Jerry.

Either way, it's on your boy.

Hey, live it up, big win, yay!

I'll see the mediocrity for what it is.

Livin the high life. Hey Dallas did play good for 4 minutes, two minutes in the start of 2nd half and 2 minutes at the end of game. Thankfully I was at a sports bar and had a pint in my hand.

Glad you enjoyed those brief moments.

On a positive note, what were you drinking?

I'll see a win for what it is! A win!

Enjoy it then.

I'm not taking anything away from anybody.

I just see this as a pathetic escape against a team we should have cleaned our cleats on.

And yet another ominous sign of continued mediocrity and NFL irrelevance.

But, again, crack open a cold one, puff out your chest, and tell all your friends about it.

I'm glad we won but my gosh we are poorly coached.

It's so sad that we're wasting so many players careers.

Yea, I wish we would have gotten Jeff Fisher. Great football man. (Rams 3-6).

From the same article - Sure wish we had McCoy or Shannahan.

4. The Commanders coaching staff made some pathetic clock management decisions late in the game that helped San Diego stay alive, and it gave them too much time to come from behind.
