How can we afford Lamb and Dak?

Parsons will break the market with a huge contract. Prescott will be gone after this season regardless of what's said unless the team reach the Superbowl this season and that's the bare minimum with this roster. The roster was the very least of an NFC Championship calibre last season - in reality it was of Superbowl quality yet Prescott couldn't get it done with a loaded roster against the 49ers.

Ok. Where's the contract? You extend players you want to keep after 3 years. I guess we'll see his extension before the season starts? Don't give me the two years left crap. All top rookies get extended after their 3rd year. If you want to wait on that, there's an issue.
Ummm….. The best defensive player in football, Nick Bosa did not get extended after 3 years. Let me make it easy for you Jefferson has not gotten extended.yet either. So San Francisco and the Vikings don’t want those guys.  So are you saying the Cowboys are not going to extend CeeDee?

No way the front office allow Lamb or Parsons to leave. If they were 100% sold on Prescott JJ doesn't give up a 4th rounder and $7 million over the next two seasons with a backup QB already in place.

Think that Stephen would just up and quit if he can't resign CD Lamb? He would be very...very shocked.
Does this dude understand negotiations. CeeDee is one of the top receivers in football. This is his second contract and he wants top dollar. Unlike Steele and Diggs he has leverage.

Oh, the mumbling lips were actually referencing me...what a bogus trip in the sun.

His place is already set in concrete as to place on the roster and cap both.

Someone up and kick the backside to kick the lips into movement? Go back to playground jargon 101...or really step up to the plate with a non-ring tapping comment.

Please now tell, ME, what is really important concerning cap and also what is player talent....I'm waiting, smart guy.

I don't need a good 'ol buddy to run to my rescue...

Ahhh… I was wondering how long it was going to take.
However my 1st thought was…who says Dak will be here, it may be Trey…
Even if it is, he'
I got news for you, CD is up for extension now. If they're not giving him one they have some doubts. Don't think Parsons will play out his 4th year. Not going to happen. If CD doesn't get an extension before this season starts, it's because they're not sure.
Or, and stick with me here, CDs agent is advising he not sign right now. Or they are asking too much money.

Contrary to popular thought process, there are two sides, at least, to every contract signed.

The Cowboys are planning to sign all these guys. Unless Dak wants a record breaking contract I think all three get done. (Dak, Lamb, Parsons).
Jerry just disrespected Dak, so expect Dak to start at 52M. Home town discounts won't happen. Besides if not Dak, then Who?

Stephen would be completely aghast if a contract was not attained. He already has in place a workable plan with available cap to retain both CD Lamb and Mike Parsons. That is set in concrete. Commitment and funds for Prescott are the variable.

He is not yet put up the very top numbers for the top, and the player contracts for those players have not reset the market yet.

Good, not the very best...is in full view for now and a true part of a negotiation. Sometimes, sooner is better for some players and length is currently the main flex item.

That Stephen can tamper with in bonus.

Tons of ways to manipulate the cap. Tbh if Dak wants to be here and win he needs to take considerably less. He is a 30m / year qb.
Just go , go far away. If you don’t think Dak deserves top 12 money you don’t deserve to be heard in the conversation.

He brought in Lance to take his job.
Prescott hasn't won a Superbowl and he has been a part of some loaded rosters in a weaker conference. He hasn't even been regarded as an All-Pro. It's not like he's year 3 or 4. He's in what year 8 or 9?

I would suggest Rodgers was disrespected when the Packers drafted Love in first round and gave up other draft capital in doing so when the roster was arguably a first rounder away from the Superbowl. Even then Rodgers would have taken on board the Packers planning for their future but from memory they didn't even warn him. Rodgers has a ring, a future Hall of Famer and 4 x MVP. Prescott shouldn't be mentioned in the same galaxy as Rodgers.

Jerry is acting in the best interests of the team. Prescott has been compensated more than enough given his lack of success on loaded teams in a weak conference.
