There's plenty of money to pay them. Sure they probably say goodbye to tyron, Pollard, DLaw but they'll keep who they want long term. This is why team building is it's own sport. Some would move on from Dak just to not have to pay 50+, some would give him 60 no problem.

Just go , go far away. If you don’t think Dak deserves top 12 money you don’t deserve to be heard in the conversation.
I only want people to believe what I believe or don't feel comfortable being in the room lol.

Make or break year for Dak. Let's see what happens.

Tyron will have earned when he retires. I expect that he will know when.

Prescott hasn't won a Superbowl and he has been a part of some loaded rosters in a weaker conference. He hasn't even been regarded as an All-Pro. It's not like he's year 3 or 4. He's in what year 8 or 9?

I would suggest Rodgers was disrespected when the Packers drafted Love in first round and gave up other draft capital in doing so when the roster was arguably a first rounder away from the Superbowl. Even then Rodgers would have taken on board the Packers planning for their future but from memory they didn't even warn him. Rodgers has a ring, a future Hall of Famer and 4 x MVP. Prescott shouldn't be mentioned in the same galaxy as Rodgers.

Jerry is acting in the best interests of the team. Prescott has been compensated more than enough given his lack of success on loaded teams in a weak conference.
The best interest of the team is to extend Dak...

I couldn’t care less if you believe what I believe. But even the worst guys like SAS or Skip Baylis know that Dak is at the very Lowest opinion a top 12 QB. When you say he is a 30 million dollar guy, you are saying he’s not too 12. That’s just silly.

More like 2nd tier with Devonte Smith. Cee Dee is fantastic but I don't see him on AJ Browns level.
Time in league differenences and by the way, do you ever reference positives that are growing?

Great news about Steele, but where does the money come to make offers to Dak and Lamb? Please give your thoughts? Do you think Ceedee will want a max deal, we better hurry before Jefferson signs
Fortunately, WE don't have to afford Dak and Lamb. Jerry is a b-b-b-b-b-b-billionaire. That's his problem.

The Cowboys will circumvent = find their way around the salary cap directives and guidelines...just like the other 31 teams in the league.
(There are a few franchises that do it better than most.)
The previous decades -- it was done by restructuring players' contracts.
Now - over the last half-dozen years - the manipulation is done by "contract extension".

CeeDee is NOT Jefferson and if he or his agent can't understand this then c'est la vie!!!!
Dak is a pre-June 1st,2024 Cut as the numbers can and will work for this outcome.

Imagine adding 3 stud players and getting rid of a bum QB.

Ummm….. The best defensive player in football, Nick Bosa did not get extended after 3 years. Let me make it easy for you Jefferson has not gotten extended.yet either. So San Francisco and the Vikings don’t want those guys.  So are you saying the Cowboys are not going to extend CeeDee?
Bosa is one year further up than JJ. Besides, how am I supposed to know what goes through a GMs head? Maybe they'll treat him like the Raiders treated Khalil Mack. I don't know what the motivation is to waste an extra year you can spread out the cap.

Or, and stick with me here, CDs agent is advising he not sign right now. Or they are asking too much money.

Contrary to popular thought process, there are two sides, at least, to every contract signed.
Yes. This is stuff we're not told. For all we know, Jerry is lowballing.

Dak and CeeDee are already under contract for next year.
Dak at a whopping 59.5 and CeeDee ar neatly 18.
Once they sign their extensions, their cap numbers will go Down for next year, opening up additional cap space to sign other players (like Micah).
That's how the cap works, it takes management, and honestly, the Coyboys have done a pretty good job at that and are in good position.
