How can you extend Dak at this point?

You can't. I'd trade some assets to move up some in next year's draft, it's going to be a very good QB class.

Gotta wonder if some of the actual players behind the scenes are starting to tire of Dak. They have to see what most of us see.
Fred Warner facilitated the turnover in the Cowboys' redzone. The Dallas D sensationally bailed out the offense by turning the ball over on their own 2 yard line. Now this is where you need your $40 million QB due an extension to show up and develop a drive. The game is still only 0-7. The D just prevented a touchdown and the Dallas offense receives the ball in the second half.

Prescott had a clean pocket yet underthrew Gallup with a loopy throw that lacked velocity. Then he held onto the ball too long and took a sack rather than either taking a shot downfield (worst case scenario it's an arm punt) or used his wheels to get the first down. He did neither and the 49ers made it 14 zip when they got the ball back.

The point being this is what you would expect from a practice squad QB like Rush or a back up not a top 10 paid QB that would be due to be paid top 5 money if Jerry is dumb enough to pay him.

He simply isn't good enough. This isn't 2001 when a team could win the Superbowl with a bus driver. The rules and everything are geared up towards needing some explosive plays on offense and a QB that can make those. This game finally showed all the Dak Lovers that he really isn't the guy. Imagine throwing three interceptions and simply laughing after each one. Oh the intangibles...

You can’t! And realizing that fact…and more importantly, realizing that both Booger and Chuckles surely must now realize it, is what enabled me to get some rest following the game…knowing that this failed experiment is FINALLY coming to an end. BTW…there shouldn’t be ONE person on this team taken off the trade market…and that includes both Parsons and Lamb…in fact, trading them may be the smartest thing this franchise could do right now…other than showing the HC and QB the door.

The way he’s playing he should be the one asking about an extension, not the front office.

I don’t know how you could justify it at this point. Suddenly the acquisition of Lance is starting to make more sense, maybe the insider guys knew something about Dak. It’s clear this guy isn’t even a middle tier QB anymore there is no way you can pay him that kind of money and compete. There is no defense good enough, no receiver good enough to elevate Dak to that kind of pay and production.
It don’t matter. Jerry is stupid so he’s going to resign him. All you can hope for at this point is for time to pass and Dak gets too old to play anymore. Or maybe injury if you’re that kind of person. But then Jerry is still in charge….

So best case scenario is Jerry gets caught up in a scandal that forces him to sell the team

Jerry spends salary to keep us behind. Dak’s salary is gonna cost us on and off the field.

HE WILL BE PAID, AND YOU'LL BE THE FIRST TO BE HAPPY. He'll play a series of games this season where he will "bounce back" and contract talks will heat up because of this winning streak, he'll get the new deal, and will be a DUD

Definitely no extension. Not sure I have ever seen a QB fall off THIS fast. NO mobility anymore. Cant imagine that we used to call him a "mobile QB" at one time. 6 TD's per year rushing.

He looks like Aikman out there in his last few years. And what happened to his deep ball passing? Those moon balls he is hanging up there what the hell is that?
He has no quickness or fluidity. He’s such an easy guy to tackle. He can’t make plays because of this.
