How come no one is talking about the obvious intent to injure Romo?

How come no one is talking about the obvious intent to drive Romo in the ground shoulder first by the defender? It wasn't as obvious as the last time the Giants defender did it but same style a pile drive with the goal of using the ground and their body to inflict injury. I thought the NFL was for protecting QBs.

Honestly, I thought that was a given on every play. But while we are on the topic does anyone think it was odd the good guy killed people in the last action movie you watched? I thought murder was against the law....

Nods, Michael Boley did the same thing when he broke Romo's clavicle in 2010.

Difference was Boley had Romo's arms pinned against his body. Romo was able to extend his arms and stop the initial contact witht he turf the injury happens when he is on teh turf an the lineman falls on him.

Ahhhh... It looked like a football play to me.

Im shocked Romo is that fragile. It looked like nothing.

I'd be more mad at Bernie. He doubled with Fredericks and let the LB come right through.

Anyone not 250+ lbs would've suffered the same injury in that exact position I dont think it has anything to do with him being fragile.

After rewatching the play, Hicks didn't need to roll him up and Drive him in the turf.
I get its football and all, but malice was intended, and now our season is in the tubes.

The ball was already, and obviously already out on the fumble. Not a doubt in my mind, he intentionally drove him into the turf trying to hurt Romo. No doubt at all...and I hope that the Dallas offensive line watches that very film about ten times to set that in their collective minds!

All I know is that if Romo doesn't get hurt the East is ours TODAY.

This injury opens up the door for these other teams.

Brandon Weeden has to play well.. He just has to. The guy just needs to not turn the ball over.. That's his biggest problem.

Whats with Texas Longhorn players injuring Romo man? Last year Keenan Robinson now Jordan Hicks

It's football. When you can get away with a hit on the QB, you hit the QB.

Ahhi looked at the replay and it seemed like a normal take down, nothing malicious. As much as we wanna believe they wanted to do that on purpose, didn't look like it there at all

because that is how the game is to be played. If my giant DL can legally put their entire weight on the collarbone of a qb, they should do it.

Wow, thought I was the only one.....HELL yes the guy tried to hurt him. It was so friggin' obvious but Buck hates the Boys and Aikman is forever trying to remain "impartial". I'm a little frustrated with Tony as he NEVER simply throws the ball away, and it cost him this time. THat said, even IF he would have thrown it away, the guy probably would have still hit him and ground him into the turf with total intent to injure. No different than when the POS GSpot LB did it a few years ago.

I did, and that was dirty. All night long you saw them changing contact points to stick fingers in facemasks, giving an extra twist, stepping on helmets, late hits, and .... driving the player into the ground. Dirty is dirty whether it happens all the time or not.

It was a clean hit and nothing dirty about it whatsoever. If it were a Cowboys player who sacked Bradford like that and he got injured from it, you would just be calling Bradford fragile and that it was a clean hit. I know it sucks to lose Romo like that, but it's no reason to start making up scenarios as to why it happened.

Last name is not Brady or Manning.......
