He's asking you to ignore your eyes when you saw your "franchise" QB be one of the worst players on the field in three straight playoff losses including the 2nd 49ers game where the defense did all it could do and just needed the QB to earn half his salary.

Where Dak ranks among all time Quarterbacks:

Pass completion percentage: 4th

Adjusted Net Yards per pass attempt: 7th

Pass interception percentage: 9th

Passer rating: 5th

Touchdown/Interception ratio: 6th

Fun fact: in 3 of Dak’s playoff losses the defense allowed 30+ points.

Other Quarterbacks playoff records when their defense allows 30+

Tom Brady: 2-3
Aaron Rodgers: 1-5
Drew Brees: 0-3
Joe Montana: 0-3
Brett Farve: 0-7
Peyton Manning: 2-4
John Elway: 0-6
Ben Roethlisberger: 0-6

“But playoffs” is a stupid argument when analyzing a quarterback’s skill set
Our defense has been the number one problem in the playoffs. We’re going to have a deep playoff run until we build a championship caliber defense that shows up in the playoffs. You’re not going to win in the playoffs if you can’t stop the run and consistently lose the battle in the trenches, regardless who your QB is.

I'm guessing you put the recent GB loss on that list even though Dak was responsible for 14 GB points in the first half and in the 4th quarter Dak threw 4 straight times and turned it over on downs at the 40 which allowed yet another GB short field score.

Now you went and did it. All the Daksessed people are going to be here and regurgitate everything again.

Don't you know defense playing bad is Daks fault. They are going to point to GB game and SF game. The interceptions caused the defensive collapse.
Dak didn't directly cause the defense to collapse. He just played so uninspired that they couldn't help but lose the little fight they had going into the game. Unlike a Mahomes where his play inspired his defense to start cracking skulls and be aggressive.

The defense gave up 19 and 23 points to the 49ers the two prior years, and Dak gifted the Packers early multiple times this year.

Dak is THE problem.

Thanks for sharing, everything we've seen suggests Dak is a pretty good QB. However, his offenses have just been so slow out of the gates in the playoffs which has added to the defensive pressure. There are certainly more factors than Dak alone, but at some point the great QBs have to carry their teams.

I hope Dak can get it done, but at some point you have to make a decision if he's the best guy to QB in the playoffs.

The only respectable performance by the defense in any of our playoff losses was to SF in 2022. In the loss to SF in 2021 our defense was road graded for 169 yards on the ground. The 49ers controlled the ball for 34 minutes and our defense didn’t sack Jimmy G once. As for GB they scored on their first possession before we ever saw the damn ball. They could have scored 60 if they wanted to. Dak isn’t the problem, it’s our defense that never shows up in the playoffs. Not about to waste all day arguing about Dak. No QB is going to win CRAP with this team.

So you held the Niners to 19 and 23 pts in 2 Dak debacle games and the defense is the problem?

There have been far inferior QB's than Dak that have won a SB. It starts with the defense.

He was responsible for 7. Maybe 10 at the most.

Not every interception leads to an automatic TD.
