..remember Jaylon and LVE were considered a top LB core 2018? They were playing lights out. Making tackles, stopping runs, defending plays..etc. I couldn't believe it and thought we got finally blessed with winning formula in our LB spot.

.....>>>fast forward, they have basically disappeared as fast as they appeared. What happened? Coaching? Talent? Bad Luck? The Jones family? Or its just to complicated?

....I'm going with the complicated part.

Maybe change of scheme doesnt fit them....or they just cant figure out the defense...I dont know...

One of them got injured, the other one got paid. Two scenarios that have at times taken the drive to play out of the player in our organization.

They take hits and deliver hits like running backs. A short shelflife. They shouldn't get paid like other players. They are expendable.

Injuries for one, actually if you include Jaylon's injury then just injuries Jaylon or any of the three will ever be at the same level prior to injury

Those two lb's got 24 tackles last week. Jaylon leads the league in tackles. The problem is our worthless, underachieving d-line. Hotboyz not so hot.
>>wow..!! I did not know that stat. You wouldn't believe it, looking how he's played.

which is WHY he cannot be judged based on stats. I watch the games. And I watch him. I would not even pay this guy the league minimum. In fact his talent level suggest league minimum or camp fodder. He is that bad. He would not even make my team....and I will be watching to see if he sticks anywhere else in the NFL once he is cut by us.

I guess if it’s up to you to make every tackle all game long then the stats add up. I think he makes mistakes but I wonder how many the line makes. Seems they get pushed back every play.

Well it’s believable when you have the worst D line in football and almost every player that gets the ball runs right through them. Think about how many more opportunities they have compared to other LB’ers but it doesn’t mean they’re the best.

Jaylon still seems lost to me.

....yeah, I wish I could disagree, but your point stands. Jaylon does not have LB instincts, at least most of the time.

He is lost. We need a different scheme. This weekend it was simplified and it looked worse. If there qb wasn’t terrible they would have had over 30 points easy.
