Mostly to evaluate younger/new talent. There's a lot of systems and procedural things to practice.

Yes, it's always the defense.

With the exception of last year, Romo usually played for teams with worse defenses. I know, this ruins your whole theory that Dak is actually a lesser God who has descended down from the heavens to bless the world and put up amazing stats (against prevent defenses).

For the record, I don't dislike Dak. I just think it was a stupid decision to not put Romo back in when healthy and I don't think he is worth the money he is getting paid. If we can actually beat some teams this year that don't have a losing record then maybe I will change my tune. I hope I do. I just need to see it.

I am not . . . its like I always tell everyone I have 2 jerseys I wear . . . a white Written practice jersey and a Blue Dak Jersey. . . . I bought the Dak Jersey his rookie year

I also had my old account banned from the old site because of a Comment I made about Romo. . .

I love to watch Cowboys football and I love to discuss it. . .

Sadly the way Jerry handled the whole Dak situation . . . everything at every moment was the wrong decision and has done nothing but to divide this Fan base.

This will be the year if Dak stays healthy. . . . The only thing that has kept Dak from being elite is His Red Zone passing . . . Lamb solves that

They do, play it backups who normally would see little time, rookies who in many cases are trying to make the team. Those games matter.
It is the only time where you put players in live action and those games often time allows a player to earn a spot on a team. Pre season is not about 1st string vets but has a lot to do with those who 2nd and 3rd string players.
