What you didn't mention is LIMITED practice.

I think it would be good for him to get a couple live action before fing tampa.
I think it is dangerous to throw Him out there based on how he has been limited and based on the injury He is attempting to come back from.

Him compensating for his ankle has already caused Him to agitate a Muscle in His back. . . Will he even be able to scramble. . . will he be rusty and get crushed on a blind side?

I dont see any advantage in not having a QB get up to speed. . . . especially a QBthat is expected to play the opener against Tampa of all teams.

Will this muscle not be more aggravated going from leisurely tosses to real time Run for your life Throws. .

Every Article says Jones Released Romo because in Jerry's words "He deserves the chance to be a starter" nothing ever said by Jerry would make anyone think he would hurt Romo....again rewriting history does not make it true.....

Exactly like I continue to say . . . in the last 5 posts

But you Dak Fans never wanna acknowledge the Truth . . . but prefer to spout National Narratives as Truth.

Any Cowboy Fan who continues to claim Romo was replaced because of Health is a Liar. . . He was treated like dirt from Jerry and that Organization and Half the Fan Base

You all continue to lie to yourselves in order to Justify a Limited Rookie over Romo . . . it was Insane but HEALTH was what you thought cemented all your arguments

I just did a quick google search and this was the 1st link

From an article in APR 2017
https://www.___GET_REAL_URL___/s/ww...-players-with-uncertain-futures-to-watch/amp/

The top offseason storyline by far has been the ongoing saga of Tony Romo, who is still on the roster of the Dallas Cowboys. At the outset of the free agency period it was reported that Romo would be released and be free to choose his new team, but it hasn’t turned out that way. Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones continues to try to derive compensation for parting with Romo, even though there have been no takers so far. It was reported, at one point, that Romo’s options were limited to playing for the Texans or broadcasting at Fox or CBS. But the Broncos have also reportedly been monitoring the situation, perhaps in hopes of signing him after his potential release.

While the Cowboys will try to maintain leverage in the discussions, conventional wisdom suggests that the team will likely cut Romo sometime during the offseason. If they make this move they would save $14 million in cap space for the 2017 season. Romo would be entering his fourth year of the current six-year, $108 million contract that included $55 million in guaranteed money if the quarterback were to be traded and remains in his current deal.

Unless something drastically changes this month, it is safe to say that Romo will likely be playing for the Texans next season, though there’s a chance for the Broncos to get into the mix as well Of course, he could tire of the situation and decide to retire and work for Fox or CBS next year, but that seems unlikely in 2017.

Jerry would not release His Rights. . . . so He wasn't able to "Sign" with anyone. . . I have pointed this out twice over 2 posts already.

This was one of the reasons that he chose to move on to the Booth . . . in Fact they saw it as an opportunity to once on Romo and make him an offer He could not refuse.

Romo wanted to play in 2016 . . . Romo wanted to play in 2017 for the Cowboys . . . and then when Denied. . . He wanted to be set free and sign the Texans. . . when denied . . . He took the dream job of ever QB that has ever played football

He as a way to save face after the way Cowboy Nation treated Him

Sad ending to Cowboy Era . . . but He once again came out on top

Jerry is a buffoon but do you think its possible jerry saved him from himself? He was a walking pretzel and sometimes competitors don't have sense god gave a goose.

Ill use myself as an example Im a baller but Im 59. I know my body cant take the rigors of the court at this age like it did 20 years ago but im stupid and I cant walk by a court at times when i see the gym full. Im competitive and I'm still pretty decent but I'm only fooling myself when i step out on the hardwood with guys half my age.

Romo did the right thing as football is a young mans game and Romo was broke

He says that the Cowboys will release Romo and he will play for the Texans....Again show me the article that says "Romo could have gone here but Jerry Jones blocked him" nothing about that relationship over the years makes that statement make any sense...but again your still angry so any word in any article will do....I'm good I know what happened its literally in black and white...you don't want to believe it then don't. Cant stress how much I rooted for Romo and again he desreved better than JG that is the worst and only way Jerry ever betrayed Tony Romo.

Closing thought from your article...

I thought Peyton Manning was at more risk based on it being a Neck Injury . . . and look How He ended things in Denver

Manning went through an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion or an ACDF. The procedure accesses the cervical spine through the front of the neck. The surgeon removes the damaged disc, causing pain, and replaces it with a bone graft implant between two vertebrae- to help the bones permanently fuse together

Room's worse injury was a Left Collarbone that cost him 10 games in 2010 and 12 games in 2015.

All other injuries amounted to 5 games from 3 injuries over 3 separate years.

2015 stung the most because of the tough loss in 2014.

Even after the Game Romo wasn't feeling any discomfort

2016 -- Compression fracture, L1 vertebra. On the third play of Thursday's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Romo was driven into the turf while sliding by defensive end Cliff Avril. After the game, Romo said he felt good and Jerry Jones said he expected Romo to be ready for the regular-season opener. Romo had an MRI on Friday, which showed the break. A source said he is looking at a 6-10 week recovery period.

Room was not a walking Pretzel . . . so this continued and often repeated Lie has no basis in Fact

It only serves those who Wanted to see a Rookie over a Healthy Romo as QB of the Cowboys. . . its a lie but you keep repeating it so you dont have to admit the Truth

Romo should have gone back in

What is the point here? Is this some kind of butterfly effect problem? If Romo would not have started he would have kept playing and Jason Witten would now be the best broadcaster in football?

I pick whichever scenario results in me making more money and achieving a higher general state of happiness.

*for the record: I like Romo. I like Dak.
Then you prefer watching people get rich rather than becoming great.
I could care less what a player makes, just show me the talent.

That article says that Jerry promised to Release Romo (Because Romo was denied a Chance to compete for starting job) . . . then article says Jerry decides to go against a gentlemen's agreement with Romo . . . Then the Article says the Draft was approaching and Jerry was still jerking Romos chain . . . But Jerry was basically being a Dick because he was gonna have to release Romo any way (Cant pay a QB that kind of money . . . When you wont even let him compete for the starting job)

So growing Tired and Disgusted of being treated like dirt from Jerry the Snake during the whole past year.

Romo took a gift and left the whole situation for a dream Job . . . He was offered the 1st team on CBS a job He would want to pursue eventually.

If not for CBS Romo would have played for someone . . .

So he chose CBS over playing QB in the NFL is your argument...ok I agree..You do realize the writer is talking about the job in the NFL when he says "or he could be tired of it all" because he was getting injured....

On sundays I was, but that dont mean i couldn't critique a top 10 QB. you and i are not going to agree on this so you can quit trying.

I watched Romos career get flushed by this organization who is doing the same thing to dak but neither QB is without fault in it. I watched him make mistake after mistake when it counted I also watched him make plays only to be let down by the defense.
I dont hold Romo in as high regard as you do. This hogwash that he was the only reason they were 500 is just that hogwash he had teammates that helped. Now I will take the the version i got of him in 2014 on but sadly he was a crip by that point.

No I think we're good. I would just like to see you defend the...(I hate saying this....) "dak haters"....as something they are free to do, as you did ROmo.

I suppose you took your own flak for it....so have at them! :)

It does appear we found a bigger Romo Lover than me!

It is ridiculous to hate or love Romo or Dak because of the other ....they are literally the same QB so far...both good with a suspect at best FO and coaching staff (hoping this year the coaching can do better)...It kills me anyone can not see the irony in defending one while tearing down the other..so far they are on eerie similar paths....

They do have a lot in common...though I will need to see Dak go out and score 2-3 times late in the game for a win. Or even a loss....

Most people ignore the fact that those Romo heartbreakers were simply BECAUSE Romo got us there to begin with.

I'll take a couple Dak heartbreakers in the same manner....if he can in fact give us a few end of game hero wins.

Id rather see 2014 method where we closed it out with Murray. Id like to see us have a good mix of run and pass and in the 4th Quarter Zeke pound them into submission. I already know Dak can fling the rock. What i want to see most of all is the defense in the 4th quarter shut the other team down

Of course I'd rather see us close out with the running game. That means you kicked their axe.

But that wasn't really my point ...talking comparing Romo with Dak.

Until Dak goes out there 2-3 times because the D caved in the 4th qtr....the comparison is not complete.
