week 1 could also be the niners .. But the Eagles at Chiefs will certainly be the Thursday game to open the season so maybe travel to Europe to play the Pats.

I 2nd that. We have the best in the league. The Super Bowl of cheerleaders, and consistent winner for decades.we win in the one spot it matters
cheerleaders.
Hurts was better this year, but I'd have to see another year of results before I'd say he's better overall than Prescott. Eagles O line is way better.Eagles are better at CB and D line they rotate d line players often and are fresh not having to rely on any one player. Hurts is a better QB. People talk about coaching and system for Hurts and yes that helps but he executes and makes the throws. Dak is missing throws and making bad reads even when he has had the time.
This should go over well. I have not looked through all the posts yet. So are we talking the 2022 season or overall?I've seen several posts and comments here Da Zone, stating the Cowboys are not that far behind the Super Bowl contending Philadelphia Eagles, ..
So per opinion/thoughts, how do we the Cowboys compare to the Philly Eagles in various areas, units and positions ?
Here's a look at mine.

This is homerism 101 which is fine but Dak used to be better than Hurts but he is no longer. The absolute best you can get in my opinion is a push. Hurts has figured it out and he has better weapons. His Oline is the best in business much like daks between 16-18. His weapons are hard to compete with he has AJ Brown and Devonte Smith who are weapons his running back tandom is good but that goes back to the line. His TE is no slouch either. there is a reason they had the #1 offense for the yearYour way off on some of them. Eagles Oline is the best in the NFL. Cowboys is middle of the pack.
Cowboys having better RB's is debatable. Dak is better than Hurts.
i disagree salary has zip to do with skillset if you want to factor in salary dump on the dumb GM that did it. 2 QBs in a row overpaid and underacheived. The OP was simply comparing position by position and which team is better at each spot. I agree that QB is a push if not leaning slightly Eagles way but I dont consider salary at all.Cliff notes
Eagles better at every position
QB push but you factor in salary and how it affects cap and Eagles better
/thread
The fact is that when comparing rosters salary has a lot to do with iti disagree salary has zip to do with skillset if you want to factor in salary dump on the dumb GM that did it. 2 QBs in a row overpaid and underacheived. I dont believe @quickccc had salary as part of the equation when starting thread. i think he was just doing a position analysis but I understand what you are saying and i agree they did it better faster. I dont equate salary into anybodys position when evaluating thats on the GM.The fact is that when comparing rosters salary has a lot to do with it

Hard to say teams will be tough this far out. Happens every year: teams u think will be good aren't, and ones u assume will be bad are goodNext year…Eagles are blessed on next year’s schedule compared to the Cowboys. It’s comical. In addition to the annual advantage of short road trips to two of the three intra-division rivals, while Cowboys travel a long way for all three. While the schedules are similar as they’re in the same division, the NFCE draws the AFCE. The two best teams are Buffalo and Miami. Both are home games for the Eagles, both are road games for the Cowboys. That leaves NY Jets and New England as “road” games for Philly. If those are 1:00 PM games the Eagles are home in time for supper with their families. And the Eagles have to play a division winner schedule, Cowboys 2nd place. Eagles get Minnesota while the Cowboys get the Lions. You tell me which Is likely better next year. Eagles get Tampa Bay while the Cowboys get Carolina. The Bucs will be in a major transition, Panthers D was very improved by seasons end. I think I’d rather play TB. And Eags get KC while Dallas gets LAC. Certainly most teams would prefer to play the Chargers except, perhaps the Cowboys, who face the opposing OC most familiar with them. KC might be an easier draw for Dallas. And even with the NFCE playing the NFCW. The best team is San Francisco, by far. Of course, home game for the Eagles, road game for the Cowboys. The Eagles have two potential international games as KC and NE host one each. But the Eagles at Chiefs will certainly be the Thursday game to open the season so maybe travel to Europe to play the Pats. Cowboys only potential int’l game is vs. Buffalo. All things considered, Philadelphia won the division and still gets an easier schedule the following year. No justice for Jerry.
Th will be at least 3 years in a row where the Eagles play the tough teams at home and the easy ones on the road. You're right, it is comical...and ridiculous the breaks this team continues to get.Next year…Eagles are blessed on next year’s schedule compared to the Cowboys. It’s comical. The Eagles made their own breaks by not losing to Jacksonville and Green Bay.Th will be at least 3 years in a row where the Eagles play the tough teams at home and the easy ones on the road. You're right, it is comical...and ridiculous the breaks this team continues to get.
