How do we solve the back-up QB riddle for next season?

Well in that case you're excused because homerism isn't a weakness it's a disease. It's so debilitating I bet there's at least a couple homers on this board who still haven't given up on the Cowboys making the playoffs this season. They don't care what the math says (**** the math) they have their own math that says if 80 different things happen the playoffs are still possible. I fully expect one of them in the coming days to start a thread devising all the many scenarios that keep the Cowboys playoff and SB chances alive.

Moore could be a good 3. Smart.

At 2, I'd like to try to rehab Kaepernick. He's such an elite athlete, he can thrive in the right situation. Plus, a guy that can make plays with his legs is a nice change up if Romo gets knocked out of a game

I like Glennon from Tampa.

he has four years of college and four years in the pros, three with Linehan(Det/Dal)....He's small, no mobility, weak arm and the second INT in the end zone is basic reading of the defense and he shouldn't and didn't have the gun to get it there....not impressed with him at all...he's JAG..

Moore has mobility and has pocket presence. He moves around in the pocket to avoid the rush and give himself room to pass. Heck Cassell doesn't do that. Why aren't you complaining about that?

His arm is not as weak as I thought and he showed good accuracy throughout the game.

That 2nd INT was not because of a weak arm. Its because of him reading the safety incorrectly playing a deep zone. In fact, I think all 3 INTs are because of him misreading the safety. NO QB should throw that pass when a safety is back there. Not even Romo. In fact, it should be taken out of our playbook al together.

Its Kellen's fault for throwing those INTs and not making excuses for him. But its not because he didn't have an arm that caused those INTs. Its because of a bad read and the Jets were waiting for it due to our predictable offense.

1...any of the top 5 QB's in the first 2 rounds. This should be the priority. so as I feel for right now. Lynch, Goff, Cook, Hackenbarg, Wentz.
2. No FA's, been there and done that way too many times.
3. I would never want to be like Gosselin....
4. No trades, no, unless we trade down for extra picks and can still get of the 5 QB's listed.
5. Moore may be a serviceable 3rd stringer, for now. Need to see more, but he is not the long term answer.

None of the QBs in this draft impress me. I would rather trade for Manziel for a 3rd rounder than spend a high 1st rounder on any of these QBs.

His arm is very weak. It is a big problem. He doesn't have great feet either.
