Buckle up, because it's likely going to be one or the other. Jerry is taking on everybody now, and most especially the fans because how dare we question him! This is personal, so he's going to go for the most fan enraging, moronic hire possible.
He can try. I say we try to break him before the season ends...

I have my doubts that Belichick would be the HC to save the Cowboys from the likes of Jerry & Son. They would very likely insist upon retaining their power as the duo to be fully in charge of the management of the offense. Belichick would find it extremely difficult to avoid being a pain in their sides by trying to convince them to surrender whatever duties he'd see as necessary to improve the team. I think it would be just a matter of time before that scenario became impossible for the three of them to find their arrangement acceptable. Perhaps he'd serve them best as our DC, however.

Lots of talk about Belicheat coming to coach our Cowboys. Both in the media and especially in here. How about a sort of mid-season bye week poll to see what everyone is thinking? It's not a given that McCarthy will be gone after this season. However, if he is, then a replacement is needed. So, how do you feel about Belicheat as the successor to McCarthy? Only one vote and it will be visible publicly.
Only if he promises to dismiss any of Jerry's behavior and do things his way

Honestly the more I think about it, I believe he will be the next Egirl coach. Siriani will be shown the door and I think in Bellicheat's mind it would be much easier to work with Roseman and win there than in Dallas where you have to overcome the Jones family. Something nobody has been able to do in 30 years.

My vote was a no vote. BB was a HC in Cleveland and failed miserably. He went to New England as Parcells’ DC. Parcells built that team. when Parcells left all they needed was a top-notch QB. Brady stepped in and they rolled. The winning culture was a Parcells creation that was self-perpetuating. All BB had to do was keep the defense working and stay out of Brady’s way.
There is no winning culture here, there is no defense, and there there is no Brady. (That is not a knock on Dak).
I’d take BB as a DC, but not as a HC.
Comical take.
Pete Carroll was head coach three previous seasons before BB took over.

I can’t say it’s a terrible hire but it not the direction I’d lean or what I’d want. I have no doubt in the right situation BB would thrive and I’m sure he still has great football knowledge and mind but that’s not here and I don’t want him to come in and bring his guys here.

I want new fresh minds and ways. It would be one thing if BB was head coach and then we had young and fresh coordinators w him but it’ll likely be the usual suspects : Patricia, McDaniels etc. I want young and greatness ahead of him - not likely behind

At least You know he will do it his way, not a la Garret, Wade, Gailey, Campo, with Jerry on his ear
Makes too much sense, Jerry will never do it.

He went 11-5 with Matt Cassel.

Why not? The Big Top needs new acts on occasion….

I would say absolutely not if this were a normal team with the GM not being the owner but here we are. We won’t get that innovative, young HC that we all desire. So, BB just might have enough clout to build an actual defense that this team desperately needs to lead a Dak led offense.

I don’t know or really care anymore because this team isn’t run by football people.
this is funny as jerry just said only football people could critique him lol.
Jerry thinks he is football people and super smart football people lol

Terrible. He's too old for starters. Dallas needs a young, creative, energetic coach. Also, his "genius" is largely attributable to Tom Brady. Elite QB's make coaches look smart- take Andy Reid or even Mike McCarthy as examples. Hard pass.

It doesn’t really matter, what matters is the core organization and we know how bad, broken and rotten is.

Probably already mentioned but the shuffling of his recent past coordinators wasn't good and recent personnel/drafting extremely poor. Not sure if I'm good with McDaniels as an OC to try again at fixing Dak.

But other than all of the above and as a defensive minded coach and all the rest of his personality, I Iove and would surely welcome.

If Bill came here , he would be heavily involved with building and running a great defense, and the offense
would be run by someone else.
He would organize the team, and get rid of the mistakes and penalties that plague the cowboys now.
They would consistenly look like they knew what they were doing.
