It seems kind of bizarre our starting quarterback, and face of the franchise is involved in the biggest national story, and nobody can talk about it. Come on Texas?

not to get too much into the argument going on here,Every Cowboy fan I know does.
Are you a supporter of Jethro and Son? Lol
No doubt , Jerry could make a great owner if he could just step back from football operations and run our franchise like most owners do without needing the credit he’s pursuing.not to get too much into the argument going on here,
but i dont despise Jerry or any of his family
Jerry is a great owner- if he would step back and just love the game and players/atmosphere from a distance
its his over involvement that annoys me
at his core he is a wheeler-dealer politician type from oil money but he loves football and everyone from his family to ex players seem to think the world of him
i just wish he was hands off
Jimmy caught Jerry at the perfect time, he would tell Jerry what he needed to win and Jerry would do what he does best.
after Jimmy was gone Jerry just kept getting more and more involved in the part he should have left to a pro
but that guy is incredibly rich. he flies a helicopter to work. its crazy
but if i had a few billion? theres a few people that wouldnt approve of my lifestyle
Our fan base for the most part supports Dak. I was more talking about the lunatic fringe nationally that have been throwing racial slurs at him recently for being raised by parents that taught him about respect, decency, and class. All Dak has to do is win and everyone will follow.
Afterall his winning wave is what initially won over our hearts.
I’m not sure our fan base can handle another era as disappointing as the last.
It's called being realistic. Hard to come by these days.
I need to see Dak go out and carry the team against an elite defense. He doesn't even have to win it. Just carry the day. The closest he came was Pittsburgh, but there's been nothing like that since.
That's a tough one. The situation with his back is problematic. He is without a doubt a HoF LT when he's healthy and, therefore, availability is a critical component of winning a championship. So Tyron Smith is not a championship caliber left tackle?
I think all of our fan base supports Dak. There’s just a segment who aren’t sold on his passing ability and have some concerns. Our fan base for the most part supports Dak. BOOM!!!Dak has carried the team . He and Romo have such dissimilar styles that you cant get past it . It dosent mean Romos style was right or better . He failed miserably many times .
Romo had good teams and failed period they were not all bad teams. Romo was a gunslinger Dak makes ball security a priority . By all means Romo could throw the backshoulder fade but couldn't run past the freaking line of scrimmage Dak can use his legs and make defenses pay . Dak rushes for TDs 2pt conversions . No defense feared Romo doing that because he couldn't run .
Teams baited Romo to throw he ran the clock to 0 so the D could T off on him. Talk about a guy with flaws that he never changed . How about when to give up on a play and throw it away More to the game than the BSF LOL
Dak is in shape stays healthy and available Romo could not do that . Dak can be tackled by NFL players and get up and continue to lead his team Romo couldn't do that .
Dak is young and a winner who will work on his game improve and make us proud . Romo was a gunslinger who made a lot of bad choices that left us frustrated and in the end without a QB because he ran in a meaningless preseason game after just recovering from an injury .
Dak picked up what we thought was a lost season and gave us some great football to watch till he was undone by Garretts coaching . No the following year he could not overcome the loss of Tyron, Lee and Zeke or the fact Dez lost focus , couldn't catch and Garrett was still a poor coach .
This year he may not be the best back shoulder passer but he will move the chains and win games . That's all I ask from a QB.
Time will tell just like it did with Romo who I also was a critic of at times.Dak has carried the team . He and Romo have such dissimilar styles that you cant get past it . It dosent mean Romos style was right or better . He failed miserably many times .

Romo was the best quarterback in Cowboys history. Yes, I said it.
Yep. Romo really is overrated by sentimental Cowboys fans when it comes down to it. He's behind Danny White in my book. Funny that Parcells warned Tony about some of the flaws of which you speak, and he never committed himself to making the necessary changes; basically blowing off an esteemed coach. Guy really didn't have any true respect for the QB position, otherwise he would've adapted his game

He just suffered from Jerry's idiocy.
By the way, Staubach and Aikman agree with me.
Dude, we get it. You don't think Dak is good enough. We think he is. Get over it and move on. You try and discredit every Dak post and its getting old...My concern with Dak is accuracy. As Troy Aikman says, you're either accurate or you're not. You don't develop that.
They're going to try to play a very different brand of offense because of it. I don't think it'll work, and I'm not that excited about watching a college style quick throw offense. We'll see what it looks like soon enough.
Yea I hate him as a GM and I hate his meddling. When I bash him it's for that. I don't hate him personally. As I said before he seems like a great guy to hang out with. If he would hire a GM and a real coach he would be beloved here. I wish he would do that.not to get too much into the argument going on here,

if Jerry despised you, he could buy this forum just to mess with you
if that didnt work he could buy the hosting company
he could find out where you live and buy every house in your neighborhood and just let homeless people live in them as long as they promised to party hard and drive monster trucks.
he could hire airplanes to buzz your house at night
The next time you, Aikman and Staubach are sitting around talking tell them I disagree...lolRomo was the best quarterback in Cowboys history. Yes, I said it.

lol @ Danny White being better than Romo. Yes, the same Danny White who threw more interceptions during his 8 seasons as a starter than all but one QB. At some point you just have to laugh at the trolls on here.
