Just a reminder as a younger fan who missed the 90s how great Emmitt was over a long period of time... wow...
Yessir he was an absolute beast of a RB and wish you were old enough to have seen him play was very enjoyable to watch.

so now you're comparing Murray to the All time leading rusher in NFL history......I'd answer to why that's ridiculous but I'm too busy laughing at the suggestion...

Only a simpleton could read my post and think i'm comparing Smith to Murray's talent level.

Are you a simpleton?

Arizona has #3 run defense. this will be a test no doubt about it.

Someone said they look good against the run because their pass defense is so bad that everybody throws against them. I don't know if that's true, but I hope we run and keep running to open up the pass.

Broaddus was saying they get people behind in scores so they have to pass, but I dont remember seeing they have a very high scoring offense. maybe Im wrong. either way the way to beat them is to win the battle up front. that is Dallas strength and we need to use it to keep our defense off the field and win time of possession.

That's really not true at all. The Cardinals have been involved in close games(a TD or less) most of the time until the last quarter, few minutes of their games. Their largest margin of victory is 11 and they haven't been ahead by more than a TD going into the 4th quarter of any of their games.

I wonder why he would say that? doesnt make any sense. I didnt think Palmer had been lighting the world on fire.

I said this the other day but the Cards have really played way above their record. Don't get me wrong they are good but they don't run the ball well, they don't have a lot of explosive game breakers on offense, Palmer doesn't have a great completion %, their defense is good but they don't get a lot of sacks. We are facing some unstoppable force coming in here. As much as I loved them beating the Eagles, the Cards were extremely fortunate to win that game. They started most drives in bad field position, couldn't stop Maclin. Foles throw an INT in the end zone and they had the two blown coverages on Cards TD's. That kind of stuff doesn't happen often.

Can't say I agree with that. The Cards were 10-6 last season and beat Seattle in Seattle when the Seahawks had a great team and were on the brink of winning the SB. They showed last season their 6-1 record this season is no fluke. Their only loss this season was with their backup QB Drew Stanton and he's won 2 games this season.

AZ was able to beat a pretty good SF team with Stanton at QB. It takes t a solid team to win with your backup QB. Stanton didn't play well at all vs the Giants and AZ sill won by 2 scores. They're not blowing teams out but they're finding ways to win. They're a hardnosed team and the Cowboys better be ready to play come Sunday.

I still said that they are good I just don't think they are this good or best team in the NFC good. Time will tell.

1800 is doable if he doesn't get hurt.

He is also on pace for double digit fumbles as well........................this brings up a good question.

If Murray has 1800 yards rushing with 12 lost fumbles, do you resign him and for how much?

I think $4 or $5 million a year is as high as I go, no way in hell do I give him $8 million a year to a back that constantly fumbles.

I would give him more than $5 million but I would not go over $8 million.

Some players get $8 million and more and do less productivity than Murray.

I expect Murray to break 2,000 yards. The Cowboys may try to rest him here and there, but we can't.
Romo is slightly injured and doesn't need to be taking unnecessary shots in the pocket.
Randle and Dunbar can't hold Murray's jock.
Murray has to be the workhorse so he'll surpass 2,000 yards and become the all-time single season rusher for the Cowboys.

Randle and Dunbar can't hold Murray's jock? I thought all we had to do was insert any runningback behind this oline and were good to go?

I'm just saying I don't think they're playing above their record. A teams record doesn't always indicate who the best team is. A lot teams that have won the SB didn't have the best record during the regular season. It's not like AZ has come out of nowhere they were a good team last season but unfortunately for them they play in a very strong division with 2 other excellent teams.

Although Carson Palmer has played well this season I've never been sold on him. In 7 years as the starting QB in Cinn he only led them to the playoffs twice and was 0-2. Andy Dalton has led Cinn to the playoffs more times than Palmer. The Raiders who've had all kinds of QB issues dumped Palmer after 2 seasons. We'll see how far he can take AZ.
