Moved to Canada from England in 94, was watching NFL football for the first late that year, became a fan of the triplets. Have vague memories of the non-call pass interference from Sanders on Irvin in the NFC Championship game, and remember our last super bowl win in 95. Been a fan since

Early 1970's. My parents took me to games when TS first opened, though I had little idea what was going on, but I do remember the one thing that captured my attention more than anything else. Before Happy Meals, the hot McDonald's item for kids was the Dallas Cowboys team poster. It's how a five-year old me became so fascinated with Ed Jones and Randy White. Every year, I couldn't get my hands on the new poster quickly enough.

Jan 17, 1971. Super Bowl V. I just started playing peewee football and I watched that game since I was a "football player". Even though they lost there was something about the Cowboys that struck a cord with me. I haven't looked back since.

I think 78. I watched roger play for more than 1 year. But I don't remember watching a Super Bowl so I'm guessing 78.

I grew up in philadelphia suburbs.

My first football memory was my dad getting irritated at the eagles and saying "this team makes me so mad" and he would change the channel then turn it back and get all upset again.

I think he wanted to be an eagles fan because they were the home team but he just couldn't.

Later the cowboys were on and he called me back in the room and said "hey, want to see a real team play".

I was like, ok I'll watch with you. I didn't really know anything about football. Then he told me roger was one of the best players in the game and I was amazed at the cowboys passing game.

After that, on Sundays I would come into the tv room and ask my dad what he was watching - then tell him "just call me when that cowboys team is on "

Cowboys fan for life after watching roger.

I've been a diehard fan for 30 yrs and counting. Started watching football summer of 1977 when I was 10, and instantly became a Cowboys fan. Gotta give my step-dad thanks for picking the right team.

My first memory was the game where Morton and Stauback rotated. Where I grew up (east Texas), we had only one TV station and they would broadcast the Cowboys games instead of the Houston Oilers games even though we lived closer to Houston... How fortunate, if it wasn't for that, I might of been a Oiler fan... UGH...

emmitt breaking the nfl rushing record. i saw it in person. with one friend who's passed away and another who's just gone away.
the radio broadcast where dorsett went 99 yards and cosell... well he had to eat it. it was like a double rush of greatness.
irvins HOF speech.
countless sundays with friends i never see anymore watching a team we all loved at the time and looking back and thinking yea, we shoulda had more beer.

and never, ever, thinking of walking away.
