How Many More Wasted Snaps does Zeke get?

Zeke only had 3 carries so Dowdle could rest.

That is my point. Why are we wasting snaps on a washed up ineffective rb? When we can spell him with a change of pace back that has shifty speed?

He’s had 34 rushing attempts his first two seasons and is averaging only 2.1 per carry. He’s had 10 receptions for only 58 yards so he’s had opportunities. When Pollard arrived he was getting very few carries but would break a big run with the few carries he got which led to more and more opportunities. If a back is not making plays and is having no gains and negative carries that’s going to limit their opportunities. Turpin is getting more opportunities because he makes big plays.

No chance. That's exactly what he has had. McCarthy said they would put a package together for him. Never happened.

You can throw all the stats you want out there and none of it will matter. Sticking him in to run a play here or there isn't anywhere close to being the right way to use him and you know it.

I really wish the Cowboys would cut him before training camp. He deserves to go somewhere with a good OC and HC that can use him properly.

It's not. The way Deuce has been treated as a Cowboy is criminal. There is stupid and they there is the Cowboys approach for using him.

The problem is you need a package for him and situations haven’t come up to use him. It’s somewhat the same with Trey Lance. We need a package and situations for him to get on the field. Like I keep saying his size has created limitations on how we can use him. They were using him as a receiver during training camp. I thought he could be effective coming out of the backfield giving him some space to run and use his quickness and agility but it hasn’t happened.

Probably, as many as Trey Lance. MM screws up the momentum when he allows Zek and Lance into the games. Both of these lost souls need to be released and sent on their merry ways to screw up someone else's offense................

He meant that seriously, and we are uhm, uhm, uhm, uhm…seeing it….if you will.

Dowdle is actually looking like a decent RB (RB2 on a good team) but Elliott is going to get some touches to appease Jerry.

If I’m Dalvin Cook I’d be fairly pissed. Unless he is hurt. I don’t even know.

One of the more puzzling things coming out of this season thus far was this bizarre belief that Elliott actually had stuff left in the tank. I expect that kind of silliness from our braindead owner/GM, but I hold our fans to higher standard.

Maybe but a case could be made that if any RB room was open for the taking in the NFL its this one. Do i think our emporer moves the pieces on the chess board on Sunday..yes...do i think if Cooks could play he would be active..yes..

He apparently cared so little for the opportunity that he showed up late for meetings/practice and got suspended.

At that point, most any other franchise would have just crap canned him right there.
