But really it seems that age has a much larger adverse effect on winning than their salary.

That the younger you are today, the higher your likelihood we will see them win in their rookie deals.

Which means if that is an indicator, then Dak is entering mid-career without having won many big games.

Which means if we pay him now as if he was a big game winner, we are on the losing end of the formula.

He needs to win in order to get paid and he needs to do it early not late.
