I think I posted a music video in the wrong thread for some reason. Apologies. Would appreciate if a mod could fix it.

Thanks.

I also don't pay with money very much anymore.

I usually take $100 at the ATM and then go back when I'm under $20. So I probably average around $60 but always want at least $20.

Usually don't have any cash in my wallet. I'm a cradit/debit person.

But sometimes I'll pull $20-40 in cash for lunch or random spending money.

What's the point of some of you saying you carry around three bucks? What does three bucks actually get you? At that point I'd probably just carry nothing, but as for me I usually carry twenty bucks

I was wondering about that. I watched it trying to figure out if I was missing some meaning about the video and how much money I carried.

from about $5 to $65 depending on how recently I've hit an atm. And at the moment you can add 20 Euro.

under $10 for daily to work.
Weekends maybe $25 or so for the bar. Well during football season.

I normally don't carry any. However, I think I should start carrying enough for what I would buy, because if I have a debit card, I will overspend.

I won't answer this question directly, but I don't understand how someone can carry so little cash on them. I guess I am the type of person who doesn't want to get caught without cash on me to do something I want to do and have the bank be closed if I want to do something that requires cash. Although I am not old, I am getting to be one of the older posters on this board(late 40's) and I think the mentality of guys my age and older is very different from the "I'll put it on my debit card crowd".

I would feel absolutely naked carrying as little cash as you guys say you do. In fact I think I would have a panic attack. LOL. I'm not toting around Fort Knox with me by any stretch of the imagination, but to me it is a reasonable amount to carry.

Im in my 50's and use the debit card. If I have my wallet stolen or lose it then I can't replace the money if my debit card is lost or stolen I'm protected and the card can get replaced. Before the debit card I carried cash no need to do that any longer since there are ATM every wheres and most places now will take the debit card.

When cash is lost it is gone when the card is lost it can be replaced. :D

I'll take the chance on losing the cash. I haven't used an ATM in probably 20 years. :)

I try not to use ATM much and normally use bank of america so that I'm not getting charged for it. I use to carry a lot of cash now I seldom have more than 20 bucks on me anything else I can use debit.

I hear ya! I can't believe it when I see people having to pay for a subway sandwich with an ATM debit card! That to me is just...frightening and unimaginable.

I respect that but how is that even possible? :)

Do you own your business or something? I am working at a company that uses direct deposit for salaries. And I barely withdraw any money from the bank teller. Without ATM, I would feel naked :D

I rely on my "smartrip" card for metro / bus fare payments. Works just like cash does. Last week, my card broke in my pocket and wouldn't work at all, and I had about $80 credit on it.

Dasmn good thing I had money on me in order to get home that day.

Cash works just like cash. Even better.

As I said I keep 20 bucks in pocket but I use debit majority of the time. Cash stolen is gone debit card is protected if it is stolen or lost big deal. Lose a 100 bucks and it is gone end of story
