Given the ridiculous contracts QB's are demanding, I don't think we can keep Prescott for less than 27.5mn a year over 6 years.

Elliott may be a bit cheaper, but if he crushes it this year and returns to all-pro form without the lingering suspension we very well may be unable to afford to re-sign both.

27.5mil/year is way way too cheap for Dak, we should sign him for 50mil/per year for 10 years with 100% guaranteed.

I think you can clearly tell what u got in Dak. You have a guy who still needs more development. The team knew what they had. They didnt know he was going to be thrust into starting, he was supposed to be on the bench learning right now. But Romo couldnt take a hit. So he was forced in there. And what u got is a Strong QB who wants to hit the guy whos open. Nomatter who that is. He's a QB who doesnt mind handing it off to a great rb. A qb who wants to take what the defense gives him. We saw that his rookie yr.

What we saw in 2017 was a team who was forcing the ball to its #1 WR at all costs. And i think that came straight from top. And it failed because while Dez still thinks he's 2014 Dez it was 2017 and his body has taken the hits and his legs have taken the injuries.

Dak was far from perfect, but his receivers who I believe are the third highest paid salary cap wise in relation to the league, were absolutely terrible for him last year. Make him better if your making that money and don't expect him to be Brady....

Well, that is true. That is why I'd like for us to take advantage of this WR draft class and take 2 WRs. St. Brown in round 3 and Scott in round 5 would be my moves to help fix the receiver situation. They both have good height, and St. Brown, from what I've seen, has solid speed.

If he gets his accuracy back under control. I agree that we can't sign him while he's missing guys like he did last year.

The 2019 offseason will be really interesting if Dak can't fix his aim this year.

They should be hunting free agents and for trades on WRs this year. I think we need new guys, but I'm always skeptical about young WRs contributing early, and we're using 2 WR slots on slot players, so we don't have development slots to carry younger guys at wideout who can't produce.

I see that, and I'd be interested to see who else is available. If Torrey Smith should be a FA, then that's a possibility.

They dont Need to resign Zeke. He is fairly cheap for the next two seasons, than they pick up the 5th yr Option and tag him a couple of times after that. Till than he will be what? 27? Thats when most RBs start to decline a bit. By than we should have the replacement on the Roster or Draft one high.
