How should we spend them 4 sixth round picks? Suggestions?

I understand the statistical nature of how late rounds, plus the UDFAs, give you little.

But if you want to win a Super Bowl, or have won one, or have gotten close, you take a stab and you win. .. Like M Cuban says or said - so few teams draft their way to a championship. But if you want one, it is very very good to try to draft good and not open a can of "give up." ... You find the Draymond Greens in the 2nd round. Or Tony or Brady.

Not as big a fan as you guys but I wrote a few days ago that I read in my brief look into this that Matt Johnson, Bowling Green, accd to some smart people, may be the best developmental QB in the draft. Let's spend one of those late 6th picks on him, before anybody else does. .. It is better to take him than a special teams player LB type .. even if, let's say, we took a QB before him, take him.. .. I think of RG3 and K Cousins ...

Small school guys very questionable though. I remember BW Webb. I remember a guy from Elon College who had every record as a WR in Div II or whatever Elon is - maybe 5 few years ago - the most yardage, most TDs ever, tall enough, everything (that we signed as UDFA) you watched him on YouTube and he looked like Jerry Rice and his only drawback - ran a 4.7 or so ..

He was among our first cuts that preseason, sorry to say.

My prejudice is to take a short guy who kills it in every way except that he is short. ... But there are no "Rudys" in the NFL anymore I'm afraid ..

What say you guys - I want to read you smarter guys than me - because I don't want to go to sleep Saturday afternoon of draft .. who might fall?

Grab a Thomas Rawls type at any position...off field problems but NFL talent.

so that he doesn't get away in free agency .....

I'm a Mavs season ticket holder...but Mark Cuban has blown a decade worth of drafts with that dipshirt theory. Meanwhile, the Spurs, while drafting after him every year, has been dominate doing just that--drafting well.

Anyway, far more so than in the NBA, the draft is absolutely huge in the NFL.

As for the 4th rounders; the middle of this draft, well into the 3rd is full of real prospects. Odds are a few will still be around in the 4th
We better hit on at least one, and hopefully more of them.

Just a few players ranked higher than 100 (so 4th red maybe) by DraftScouts.
Maybe some will go earlier, but all

DE, Bronson Kaufusi
DT, Sheldon Day
RB, Paul Perkins
RB, CJ Prossie
QB, Cardale Jones
CB, DJ White
DE, Jihad Ward
QB, Dak Prescott
TE, Bryce Williams

Looking at the prospects that were brought in I would bet we get a G and a LB in rd 6

We could do the "special teams players" thing.
Maybe a punter that put up great stats in college .

And I am just as confident that several of the Cowboys' UDFAs will shine and show more than several of the draft picks. It happens every year with the Cowboys and with just about every other team.

NIce try but I doubt any of these are available in the 6th round which is what the original poster asked.

If we havent drafted a RB, I would be hoping Keith Marshall, RB of Georgia is there. He is a 6th rounder according to Brugler and NFL draft scout has him in 5-6. He has good size and blazing speed.

Every round it gets harder to know who to pick till the time comes because you don't know who will be there. Just follow your scouts lead
