How was the offense so poor vs ARZ?

I remember too and you are right. I noticed it!! He's the only one sweating like that when they put him on camera. I'd understand if he were playing in uncontrolled conditions in Arizona or something but he's inside "Jerry world". Why does he sweat like a stuck pig in games like that? It's anxiety and his "tell" is obvious. Let them blast you..
You know me...I stood my ground. Stubborn mule.

“First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you"...or something like that.

I've never seen any great QB look like that before or during a big game.

If the offense looks bad against Vegas, it might be time to worry cause the Raiders are garbage.
It's the only team I want the Cowboys to beat the rest of the year. This year is over and we should accept that when watching teams score THREE against Philly but FOURTY against us. Justin Fields...Russell Wilson....looked like Joe Montana against us. The only people still holding out hope are smoking Jerry's stash.

I have a friendly football rivalry and we only play the Raiders every 4 years..so I want a "W". Other than that...every win cost us a better player in 2026. And it only delays the inevitable crash when we don't make the playoffs. Or worse...we make the playoffs and Dak goes deer in headlights again.

Not defending the current team's play against Arizona, but I saw a few games during the 90's SB run exactly like this. All teams have off games.
There was no 92-95 Cowboys game where they got their doors blown off by a crap opponent. Not one.

Yes. Look at these losses in each of the Super Bowl winning seasons:

1992: 31-7 at Philly, and 27-23 to a bad Rams team at home
1993: 27-14 at a bad Atlanta team
1995: Lost twice to a 6-10 Washington team, lost 20-17 at Philly (Aikman 11/28 passing)

For the record, because I know people twist things, I AM NOT comparing this team to the 90s dynasty. I am just pointing out that bad games happen to every team.

Washington wasn't a crap opponent. They were a recent SB champion. Atlanta won by less than two TDs, but I'll grant that one.
Washington was two years removed from the SB and was a horrible team horribly coached by Richie Pettibon. Dallas crapped the bed with penalties and turnovers. It was a terrible game against a terrible opponent.

For reference the Cowboys wanted revenge in the rematch that season and routed them 38-3.

You do realize that they have only won 3 out of the 9 games played so far. You can't say - ALL TEAMS HAVE OFF DAYS, when they have only had 3 ON GAMES, lol. This team is a walking OFF GAME waiting to happen.

Dak looked like a deer in headlights unwilling to give lamb and Pickens any opportunities downfield..

The OL got dominated , they abandoned the run.

Now Seattle looks like they are just coasting up and down the field. I know Seattle is a better team but, Dallas offensively looked completely lost last week. The offense looked unstoppable at home until last week.

Did Dallas underestimate the cardinals? Was the Cowboys game the Cardinals Super Bowl? Did Jerry saying they’ve made a trade 2 hours before kickoff derail the focus? What happened ?
...that was bad discipline game for them. Offense was schooled.

It all starts with OL, always. If they can pass protect, open holes for RB.

THe offense sets in. OL was terrible. Dak could not find sync.

Defense is ALL EBERJOKE. I wont even get into it. Why he's still here? ....IDK>>

Shotty accountability culture, is taking absence.

Yes, I do realize that fact, but they haven't all been as bad as that Arizona game.

Didn't the Raiders just hold the same Broncos who hung 44 on our defense 10 points? Their offense might be bad but their defense might be okay.

Dak's been playing great. Last 2 weeks the offense has been stifled - that's not Dak's fault. He can't do it all - be realistic. No QB in the league would do any better with the surrounding cast.
He's doing the best he can with a thousand yard rusher, two #1 WRs, a 50 million dollar TE and three 1st round picks along the OL.

It wasn’t very good against Chicago, Denver and AZ. Mid against Philly

This isn’t a good team. That should answer your question.

Clog the short to medium routes & force Dak to make the reads & the throws to beat the coverage. That's a big part of the plan as well.
This is the blueprint that everybody is starting to catch on to, drop your corners, move everybody else up, and it causes issues.

Also don't forget a few bone-headed play calls (especially the non-kicks) by the HC. The far majority of this team's woes are being pooped out by the Defense. I have never, in all my years, seen such poor (total lack of) tackling, bad pursuit angles and guys standing around scratching their butts like we have this year. I'm sick of seeing guys celebrate a sack or stop for a loss when they are 2 TD's or more behind. Or the stupid endzone celebrations when they are having their butts handed to them on the scoreboard.
What? Do you watch other QBs? There are much more mobile, accurate and instinctive QBs. The logic is just Dak-serving: Line plays well, credit Dak. Line doesn't give Dak 5 seconds, then we can't evaluate a 60million dollar QB. .
