How will Dak adapt to a new offensive scheme?

Judging by your comments I can kind of see where this is going and how you feel about Dak, that's cool, but hey he's in his 10th season (going into) and we STILL have questions about him as a QB,you have questions about these younger QB's, not someone that's had 2 contracts. He needs to play better, he needs to be able to get us wins, no it's not all on him, but if you're making 60 million you need to accept the majority of the blame!
Im just asking for evidence to back up your claims that Dak can't do well in new systems, and none of what you said here does that.

It’s obvious that Dak can’t lead this team with his arm, so they need to turn to a run first offense and make him a game manager QB.
Moore definitely fits this mold, which is why I’m less down on him than many on here.
This will probably take drafting another OL and RB high over the next couple years.
Make the offense into a running/time-control offense and focus on solidifying this defense into one of the top-tier in the League then see what happens.

If the new offense gets him under center and the run the ball first, I don't care if he adapts or not but this is another reason why they should not restructure his contract this year. Take the $90 million hit and be prepared to get him off the books after 2026. Clean the slate and find a young promising QB that makes squat and has a chance to be successful with a better team than what Dallas is now.

I think everyone underestimates jerry interference. when you have zeke and forced to play zeke, then a lot of what you try to do goes out the window. when you have no safties, with less speed and awareness, an crap for DTs, then you can't accomplish what you try to do. the GM, the personnel and the coaches scheme have to align. ours never does.
Well said. A little stumbles but well said lol I agree it’s freaking messed up. We never have everything together either a great offense, and a ****** defense or vice versa. at some point in time, but it has to all merge together

we take that big hit, how much would that leave us with for this off season to spend?? What would be 2026's cap number for him which MAKES it easy to get him off the books??? (Please don't give coog all these numbers and words, I can't take it bud lol) make it simple!!

Adding 30% more dumb down plays.
What makes you think he’s stupid, Prescott been a quarterback longer than you’ve been alive probably. And that speculation just like you do. He does not need anything to be dumped down. He just needs to fit what he’s capable of doing. Show me a quarterback that can do everything, not even Mahomes

I believe we’re definitely under the cap. And the cap keeps going up, it’s a wash. Prescott’s money means absolutely nothing going forward. It’s just up to Jerry wanting to redo contracts. I don’t know why people argue so much about salary cap I know you only can spend so much money but we have it. Everybody keeps saying how cheap Jerry is.

you keep looking for facts, are you a fact checker or something sheesh
Because its a fact that Dak has adjusted well to new offenses. Both, when he first came into the league with Garrett and the switch to McCarthy's playbook. So Im curious of what facts your opinions are based on.

so is it good to take the hit, or open up money to use to better the team???

I have been a Prescott advocate since he came into the league. I’m like Sean Lee, who is this guy, but I’m afraid his career is going to end similar to Tony Romo’s. And I think it’s sooner than later. And it’s not worth discussing further for that reason in my opinion

Jerry doesn’t play with free agency, another reason why people don’t like him. With all the more supports my opinion. Prescott is going to get injured again ,and I have no idea what that does to his contract to the hit. But I would bet on it him not being able to complete a season all it’s gonna take is one hit to that hip and it’s done again.

I think he'll have the drive in him to finish the season, I don't think he'll be that type of QB, because then it gets me thinking in the back of my mind, I got the bag now I'm just going to be out!!!!

Hurry up Offense -Example 1 SF 2021, Example 2 SF 2022.
Didn't we change to a WCO/TCO, to get the ball out quicker to move away from the ponderous progressions and the tendency to stare down the receiver.
The best system to fit Dak's abilities is one that involves a high dependency on the run game.

The drive yes, you get popped in that hip after the tendons being completely detached. It’s not like a hematoma. It doesn’t get stronger

If Dak had a setback it would make it easy on Jerry to know what to do. If he's not healing well i'd take the hit
