What is you locker room attitude if you were th coach after yesterday's performance? Do you praise them for fighting through adversity and getting the win or do you rip into them for sloppy, uninspired play and costly mistakes?

It's not easy to win in the NFL. At the same time, we are supposed to be in the hunt for a Super Bowl and nearly lost to the league's worst team.

I was never a sports coach, but I have managed a large workforce that, on occasion, failed to deliver. With that as background, I would approach it along the lines of

Make no mistake, that was an ugly, ugly win. Our performance in all three phases of the game as well as coaching was underwhelming. A deep playoff run is a pipedream if we continue down this path.

The key take-away from the game is when it mattered most, when we were literally out of time and missing key players, we had a heroic defensive stop and then drove the ball 98 yards for the win. And, that's what good teams do.

Now, go home, hug your wives, your kids, your dog, and be thankful you're a Dallas Cowboy.

I'd bring back the paddle. It worked for me when I was in school. Had my best grades when I was involved in sports because I had to go see the coach when I was wasn't focused and acting up.

I'd tell them to quit eating the fricken cheese every time they read or hear something good about themselves...

I tell em every team is allowed one stinker per year. That was ours and we were fortunate enough to still win. Now we need to play up to our potential as we prepare for the Superbowl run.

I don’t think much can be said. These guys are pro’s. They know they stunk. I would address the mistakes that lead to such a lacklustre effort.

The better question might be what should MM say to MM after going soft in practice and then the team gives you this effort.

Maybe MM should toughen this team up…

With a whip!
Lol
Lock the training room like Parcells did.

I'd address Jerry first: "Jerry, you want to win a super bowl, right? Well, this ain't gettin' it done. Let me have control over playcalling, and let's get this thing done. What's happening ain't workin'. "

Didn't McCarthy say that this week? Before or after going lite on them in practice, I am not sure.

you all took the cheese and took a big bite out of it. if you don't focus, practice hard, we are not going to have much success in post season. its up to you guys and what you want to get done in post season.

I would yell and then take my shirt off
And then yell some more and the take my pants
Off
And then I would yell and bend over……. Wait what was the question again???????
