It's sad that this roster couldn't come more prepared to avoid the terrible kind of a team performance that we got. MM alluded to the fact that creating a trap game by taking the point preference too seriously can often lead to not listening to what the coaches repeatedly tell the players, time after time. At least, things worked out in the end, this time.

He emphasized that he's seen it happen too many times in the past. Obviously, the Cowboys surely aren't the only team to suffer through such swoons. Here's hoping it happily subsides throughout the remainder of this season and long beyond. The Cowboys have historically been, altogether, far too susceptible to such incidents. A lasting impression should finally ensue this time.
