I would feel great about that!

You know the Eagles don't exactly have a wildcard spot lined up ether, especially considering you lost to San Francisco, Arizona, and Seattle.................its pretty much division or bust for you guys as well.

How would you feel about an 11-5 Eagles team watching the playoffs from the couch?

I'm not much of a thread starter but I really am interested in the responses.

Obviously nobody is going to be happy about missing the playoffs. That's not the point of this thread. I'm talking about how you would feel about the state of the team and it's immediate future.

Let's say the Cowboys win 2 of the next 3 games. Beat the Eagles, lose to the Colts, beat the Commanders. Or whatever way you want to do it. But they lose the tiebreakers for the division and wild card. They sit at home at 11-5. This is a pretty rare happening in the NFL.

What's your reaction? Is this the same team that can't close the deal and just misses the playoffs? Like every other year in recent memory? The record doesn't matter, all that matters is they came up short again?

Or was it just a flukey season, the team went 5-2 down the stretch, clear progress has been made and this is merely a case of some bad luck? No 11-5 team should ever be sitting at home watching a 7-9 division winner? This was a clear step forward towards 2015?

I say 11-5 and no playoffs. You say?

I ask because I really don't know.

I would feel like this....DANG! We let the Commanders beat us.

Loaded?? We have Dez and a bunch of JAGs

I disagree.. I think we have as much talent at that position as just about anyone.ld

We just scheme like dog trash instead of just getting the ball in their hands.

Put Cole Beasley in New England or Denvers offense and he'd absolutely kill it.

We don't do anything with T.Will but run him down field.. It's just a joke..

Dewayne Harris is a really good YAC receiver but the plays we use him on don't let him use that ability.

Street is the next in line to get the T.Will treatment.

Bad scheming blew the Commanders game, which is on Linehan (one of the few knocks against him this year). I'm not sure what the coaching could have done to overcome having Weeden at QB in the Arizona game.

thats still coaching and still my point. And not having the bad scheming in the Commanders game would have meant tony not sitting out the arizona game

perhaps not but he didn't have us ready for the Commanders, if we don't make it, that will be the one that hurts and costs us :(

To cherry pick one loss this season and say the HC didn't do X is non sense. Romo can be blamed for 49ers loss, indirectly for the Cards loss and 1st Philly loss. Its the NFL sometimes you just lose, especially in a rivalry game.

After last night there's no turning back now. In control of our own destiny, time to get it done. 12-4 or bust

yea, what? Everybody and their mama knew the NFC west would once again be the most competitive division in the conference.

Yeah never got the memo from Creskin that had the West was going to be exactly how it is. Its possible the WC out of that division will have a better record than 2 other division winners.
