How would you feel if we acquired Brandon Marshall?

I don't post often but I'll say this...to believe that calling out or putting your hands on a known gang member will result in nothing is...ignorant. Tupac is proof of that. Totally different people but same results. Those who disagree obviously grew up in the sticks somewhere outside of reality.
I'm not saying that is what happened to Marshal's friend but if it did, that's why it did.

You will never get me to agree with this. Sole responsibility lies at the hands of the punk with a gun who thinks he needs one to prove his pee pee is big. That sect of society are a worthless blight on the world. Pimples on a fat *** are more appealing.

I agree with you here. The blame really does fall on the gang member.

I wouldn't be surprised, however, if Marshall feels some responsibilty for it. I mean it's not like the gang member walked up and said "You know what I'm going to shoot at these random dudes, out of the blue tonight, cause I feel like being bad."

Now I guess that does happen with gang members, I dont know I'm not well versed in messing with them, but in this case it didn't. Marshall and company got into it with known gang members which is absolutely, totally, and utterly irresponsible, reckless, and stupid. You have to know when you screw with folks like this, who have no respect for life or the law or anything that you're running the risk of getting yourself, or those around you, hurt or killed.

I wouldn't put responsibility on him for it, cause he can't control what others do, but I'd certainly have to have a real serious talk with him about how he should probably consider not putting himself, and his friends, in situations with less than savory people.

In a sense, to me, it would be like if they went to a club and slapped a known mobster in the face. Now you can't control how they're going to react, so in a sense it's not your responsibility for how they respond to that slap, but I don't think you can really acted shocked, or surprised, if they decide to kill you and/or whoevers with you for the slap.

I do wonder though, just out of my own curiousity, if Marshall blames himself at all for the event cause of the prior fighting.

no. need OL help first, another corner, saftey. There are enough playmakers on offense.

The funniest part of all of this is you need to put your hero on some imaginary scale of who is a bigger freaking idiot so that you can sit behind a keyboard and scream "he is, get off my boy!"

Your boy is a self destructive moron. Others are worse. I hope that admission gives you some peace of mind.

The funny part about this is that if TO wasn't mentioned I wouldn't have said a word about him in this thread. I didn't start the comparison btw TO and Marshall. Nice try though

He's caused far more trouble in Denver than TO ever did in Dallas, and since we've adopted a strict "no-turd" policy, that's the end of that.

Please tell me how that was whining?
How often do you feel like you need to call me out when you whine about Roy Williams? Just give me a ballpark figure. It has to be nearing a hundred times that you've already done it. At least it seems that way. We get it that Roy Williams wads your lace panties all up. I get it that you think I am somehow responsible for him being here.

Will you please shut up now? The incessant whining is just over the top.

People call me out on here too, Hos.

Other people call you out over Kickers.

People call out bbgun for being a virgin. lame. and other stuff.

This isn't a Ms. Congeniality forum.

Yeah whatever. I hope the lace doesn't cause a rash. You whine about Roy Williams more than any other poster on this forum whines about any player.

Notice any missing names?

Panthers desperate to find a wide receiver

3/26/2010 4:16:19 PM

Charles Chandler of the Charlotte Observer reports the Carolina Panthers' quest to find a wide receiver to complement Steve Smith on a long-term basis has lingered so long that even coach John Fox had some light-hearted fun with the issue this week.

"We've been in somewhat of a search over about eight years for that spot," said Fox, who's entering his ninth season with the Panthers.

"We've had some guys roll through that role, and we're still in search."
Fox was asked by the Observer Wednesday in Orlando, Fla., whether Muhammad had played his last game for Carolina.

"As free agency moves forward, it stays fluid," said Fox. "Moose has been great for this organization. I've always appreciated him as a player, as a guy in that locker room.

"It would be hard for me to predict how that's going to turn out."
So where do the Panthers turn next?

The list of available unrestricted free agents includes mostly 30-and-over players past their primes, though former Buffalo receiver Josh Reed, 29, is a possibility.

However, the draft should afford the Panthers numerous promising options, especially in the second and third rounds.
