I'm a bit rusty on statistical math, but I say these are our odds:

50% chance of winning WC round = 1/2
50% chance of winning Div round = 1/2
50% chance of winning NFC Champ game = 1/2

So combined odds are: 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/8 or 12.5%.

Odds rise to 25% with a round 1 bye. :D

I'm really not sure why we should "fear" Green Bay. Certainly, we should respect them, but FEAR them? Make as many excuses as you want for them and Rodgers, he's sick and has a bad calf, they haven't looked dominant in about a month (Which is a while in the NFL).

The main reason I don't fear them though is because the way our offense is set up, it's the best formula to keep someone like Rodgers off the field. We eat the clock, we score, our defense may give up a score here and there, but we get the ball back, eat the clock up, score, and when our defense gets a stop, we score again. Our offense is nearly unstoppable at this point and I don't fear Green Bay's secondary much at all. Their pass rush could be a problem, but hey, we drafted O-linemen for a reason, did we not?

Seattle, now they certainly give me some fear because they do exactly what we do, except they actually have a defense. But we beat them once, and I think we could force them to put the game on Wilson's shoulders once again...and that didn't end well for them the last time.

There will be some teams in the playoff race with offenses about equal to ours but also sporting defenses that are significantly superior to ours in every aspect. Our defense would almost certainly be victimized by those teams.
It's difficult to estimate a percentage of our chances in consideration of that scenario but I wouldn't bet on it.

Okay, I know I'm jumping the gun. But, hey, shoot me. We're in the playoffs so it's not like I'm totally getting ahead of myself.

But I did want to ask this question. From a percentage standpoint, how would you rank our chances of getting to the Super Bowl?

I'd put us at 90 percent.
In the previous season with this team, I wasn't too confident in our chances to get to the Super Bowl, even in 2007. I just didn't trust the coaching staff at that time.

But this year feels different. I don't know if I'm completely on the bandwagon for Garrett, but I do like the approach to the run. I have major confidence in the offensive line, and Romo and Witten seem to have that steely resolve that they're determine not to blow this chance. I think the Cowboys may be a bit more desperate than the Packers (who've been there) and the Seahawks (ditto). And they have a style of play that succeeds during the playoffs.

So I put our chances high.

What say ye?

Dallas has as good a chance as anybody. The way theyre playing right now i'd pick them over seattle. Both are playing hot but Dallas just has something about them right now. Theyre a scary team.

I think defense wins championships, so I'm not feeling super confident. With that said, I don't see any juggernauts in the league. The closest to it are probably NE and SEA. With that said, sometimes this is all about getting hot at the right time and staying that way just long enough, and that's what I'm hoping is the case with Dallas.

Dallas, GB. Seattle. One of these 3
teams is going to represent the NFC
in the super bowl. Our odds are 33.3%
