Lance did ok , but nothing that can win a playoff game or lift the team at that position the run game is still suspect and he will face many tough throws . He is still inaccurate and a bit sloppy at times . He has some flashy runs and throws but it is obvious he is still green .What would your feelings be if he had to start a game this season due to the starter being out for whatever reason? Has he shown enough that he can command this offense and help us win a game if needed?? Please give your thoughts

Wow, Dak has never overthrown balls or thrown behind the receiver, huh? His passes are the most accurate of any QB that has ever played the game.We would be screwed with Lance if we can’t run the football and our defense isn’t playing well. He played better last night after a shaky start because we had a running game and he wasn’t having to throw the ball 40+ times. He only attempted 23 passes. He has accuracy issues with overthrows and balls behind the receiver.
He has shown enough to get wins. He protects the ball, will use legs if needed. He might get the wr’s killed though. What would your feelings be if he had to start a game this season due to the starter being out for whatever reason? Has he shown enough that he can command this offense and help us win a game if needed?? Please give your thoughts

Not very good, but I would differently pull for him. What would your feelings be if he had to start a game this season due to the starter being out for whatever reason? Has he shown enough that he can command this offense and help us win a game if needed?? Please give your thoughts

The only chance we would have with Lance is to keep the game close. If we had to play come back with him, it could get ugly. He throws a lot of balls out in the flat and underneath. He needs to push the ball down the field more but that’s where we would likely run into trouble with him in a game where we can’t run the ball and our defense is struggling.I would expect an L and be pleasantly surprised if we kept it close
If he's not doing it well with the backups, he's going to magically turn it on with Lamb?I want to reserve judgment until Lance is able to play with the starting line and throw to guys like Lamb, Cooks, and Ferguson.
My response would be “oops”.What would your feelings be if he had to start a game this season due to the starter being out for whatever reason? Has he shown enough that he can command this offense and help us win a game if needed?? Please give your thoughts

He wouldn't throw for 50 yards against them right now. He's got a long way to go to face real defenses running real schemes. What if Trey starts against SF ... and wins ...
That’s not true. Teams started putting a spy on him after his first year and he scrubbed. They won't we never unleashed Daks running ability when he was younger and had the ability. We will make Lance a drop back passer guaranteed.
The 24-year-old enters Thursday’s game (1:30 p.m. PT, CBS) having run for 11 touchdowns since the Cowboys drafted him in the fourth round in 2016 — the most by any NFL quarterback over that span. But that’s not the only threat his legs present. In addition to quarterback draws in the red zone and third-down scrambles, Prescott’s escapability allows him to extend plays that — for some quarterbacks — would have ended in a throwaway or a sack.

bottom line , he is not the answer for the future .
